My experience was eveything that I have come to expect from Chapman Excelent. Priviosly I had a BMW from Chapman and obviosly the High quality continues with Hyundai. Went in for an oil change and left $578 dollars later! They found other things that needed attention, but the labor costs are really over the top. Had my oil change and my brakes checked because it sqeaked when I put my brakes. They suggested to have my engine filter replaced as well. I was not happy when I asked Joe what is an engine filter and sqeaked when I put my brakes. They suggested to have my engine filter replaced as well. I was not happy when I asked Joe what is an engine filter and how often do you replace it. He was short and very impatient. He did not know the answer either. I am not a mechanic that is why I had to ask. Called Sun Devil Auto to find out what filter they replaced in February 2010 and they told me that it was air and oil. I still don't know what is an engine filter is. I will certainly NOT go back to your dealership again. More
This is the best service I've had at a car dealer in a long while. Joe was great about explaning what needed to be done and why. He was super polite - opening doors and pulling out chairs for me. Chris, the tech, even stopped to talk to me about the car. He seemed to be very sincere about making sure I understood all that was done. He even thanked me for my patience when I didn't mind waiting at all. Joe told me other things needed to be done but since the car is a company vehicle, I had to get permission. So far so good on my dealings with the dealership, but I'm most interested in how my most recent concern (sent to Jeff Andre) is handled regarding the tires on my vehicle. That could definitely change my recommendation, to be honest, as the performance of my vehicle seems a bit different than it was during the test drive due to apparent issues with the tires (according to Daniel). I just sent in the concern to Jeff this morning and hope it can be handled quickly and correctly. But Daniel was great, even dropped me off at my office when a second repair was needed unexpectedly. Above and beyond and much appreciated. More

An error was made 3 months ago and the answer I have had is "too bad, we forot to mention it to you so you are out of luck and oh yeah you need to replace a 4 month old tire" And the fact of the matter is is "too bad, we forot to mention it to you so you are out of luck and oh yeah you need to replace a 4 month old tire" And the fact of the matter is that from what I have been told and the prices quoted I was over charged for the unmatched tire I now have from a collision repair and at least three people new that I was not getting a matching part, the insurance company would of considered and probably replaced the 2nd tire that was about a month old, or I would of if I knew what the budget was considering the charge made to the insurance company that would of been mine to shop with. Please feel free to call for a more cohesive accounting of this story. Joe has been my go to guy for years for my son and now my vehicle. I am very disappointed considering the reason Chapman had the repair on the collision was that Joe had promised to stay in touch and watch over the repairs. I was never contacted by my service rep at the collision center and had to actually call the day after the promise date to find out where my vehicle was. It was delivered with a servere pull to the left, which was the second time Chapman Hyundai had the chance to state that the tires did not match. Joe told me he noticed but assumed I knew about it, but of course Joe was to call to replace my rear tires while it was in the shop for the collision work. I understand now why he did not call me as then the explaination and the cost would of been explained. Joe has always been my hero, that is why I insisted that USAA us Chapman Hyundai, in fact Joe called to explain that it needed to go to Chapman BMW for collision work. I discussed at that point that is seemed unfair, I had just had those two front tires put on, but life happens and we chuckled about it. He knew it was important that they match in fact he was the one who explained it to me at Chapman (I have been aware for years due to my backround but politely agreed). Lately it has always been the next time you come in I will fix whatever he notices is wrong when I pick up my vehicle, such as squeaky windows, that finally were fixed this service but were bad when the re-alignment was done and Supposedly someone had done a test drive and I would assume they would notice the problem. Or I thought you knew so I didn't call, or I can't do any more about it so you need to talk with someone else, the only thing he did do is finally give me a name to the manager at collision, who told me that Joe was going to handle the problem. Edward never gave me any customer service, in fact everytime I speak with him I end up apologizing for bothering him because he is so.... negative. When I picked up my vehicle that was making left U-turns by itself, he blamed the other dealership. When I asked him why he had not noticed during his test drive, he agressivly stated he was too busy to do everything and it should of been done by someone else, he implied that all he could do is rely on others, which confused me as I was to rely on him, so I again apologized hoping I would get my vehicle back in satisfactory condition. When I called Pete (who should of called me when things started going bad, y opinion) he told me that I am 100% right that I should of been notified and what more did I want, I told him two matching tires per what I was entitled to and apology would be nice. He replied verbatim " I told you you where 100% right what more of an apology do you want". I have asked numerous people and they all agree this is not an apology, not even close. More
Joe was very good in following up with the ordered part and communicating to me when the part arrived and when my car was ready for pickup.
