I will admit I had some reservations, due to my recent experience with several other dealers. It was infact the good reputation of Chapman and the forthright manner of Mr Pevehouse that convinced me I needed to come into Chapman. Upon my arrival and just as we had discussed on the phone Mr. Pevehouse greeted me with a relaxed smile and placed me in the hands of my Salesman, Jake Gerdeau. I was well researched and came in looking for the Hyundai Sonata as Mr. Pevehouse and I had spoke of. Jake was extremely knowledgable of the vehicles and never took advantage of the opportunity to blow smoke to push his product. Instead he provided a sense of comfort with the confident manner in which he answered my questions. He walked me through the delivery process and explained my vehicles bells and whistles in detail following the sale. I cant say enough of our fiance guy either (wish I had a card & recalled his name!!) This man sealed the deal with some fabulous suggestions that actually saved us money! I have great respect for those who work in honesty and integrity. I look forward to receiving the same level of service when it comes to the maintenance of my vehicle over the next few years and would welcome doing business with Chapman again in the future! You Have a great, friendly group working for you. More than once they have gone out of their way to do a great job. When the shades on my sun room would not work they were quick to order the correct part than once they have gone out of their way to do a great job. I came in for a scheduled oil change, and was it was handled quickly and efficiently. Daniel is great. I can easily schedule my appt and he gets me in and out very quickly. My car always looks great when I leave. I get $9.95 for life oil changes and that's exactly what I am charged. I did on-line research for 4 weeks and many hours before I decided to buy a new vehicle. I'm coming down to Phx. from Prescott Valley and stop at a dealer on Camelback. I did not get any help and was surprised that when somebody did come out, they could not give me a price without having me go inside and talk to someon else.So I left. The 2nd stop was at Chapman. I started to look around for the Sonata's and Don came out ,took me to them and was able to give me a price. This was my first new car that I ever bought, so I was a little nervous but Don made my feel confortable. After about a hour or more of talking and settling on a price, I (of course) had to compare it with another dealer. When I arrived at the other dealer, I just felt I did not recieve the same kind of help that I did from Don. It was as if he was in a hurry to get me to buy and I felt pressed. After a price war between Don and the other dealer I decided to return to Don. I am sooo glad I did. I felt so much more at ease buying the car from Don. He had it detailed and filled with gas (which is a big deal these days). Don also went over all the bells and whistles. To sum it up,he took the time with me and treated me with respect.I will most definitely recommend Chapman to others. I will also make Chapman my FIRST stop next time.
