These guys are smiling and super friendly but can't be trusted. I purchased a new 2012 Hyundai Accent in late June on the hottest day of the year. They made me wait almost an hour for a credit ceck even though I wasn't asking for financing. Instead of conducting the transfer from my old car to the new car in the shade as I asked, the salesman insisted on doing it in the sun; I almost fainted. Before I drove off, the salesman told me that if I didn't give him a perfect review of 'all 10's' he would be fired. He was so busy guilt-tripping me that he forgot to remove the electronic anti-theft lock, so the first time I parked the car after leaving the dealership I got stranded in the heat! The thing that made me choose Chapman instead of a dealer closer to me was the promise of '$9.99 Oil Changes for Life'. Six months after buying the car they cancelled the program. Now they offer 10% Off for service over $100.00 which, because of the warranty I won't need for years. The fine print on the $9.99 Oil Change card says they can cancel the program at any time, but my salesman never told me that and I didn't receive the card until AFTER I had purchased the car. More
While I really do like the vehicle itself, I am still hugely disappointed by the incompetence I encountered at this dealership. The sales process was fine for the most part.. a bit heavy handed, but ok. It was more after the sale happened that I have issue with. My first issue was regarding the delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle wasn't on the lot at the time so they found another vehicle and advised it would take about a week. So the week is almost up and I did not receive any calls from the dealership so I had to initiate contact and ask for a status update. I was told to expect it later that same week. So a couple days pass and I get a call from one of their employees to ask how I was enjoying my new vehicle. Really? They can't figure out that I don't have it yet? So I asked this employee to get me an update on when specifically to expect the car, she had my sales rep call me back and he pushed back the delivery by a few more days. After that time frame was up I had to call again only to be told they weren't sure where the vehicle was so it might take a little longer. At that point, I was fed up at the lack of information and decided to start looking at the other dealerships. So the 1st dealership I pull up I find the exact car I had been trying to purchase. And not just the same color and options, but literally the exact car, same VIN # and everything. So I called that dealership and confirmed it was just sitting on their lot. At that point I called my salesman and informed him of the location of the vehicle. While they were apologetic and eventually were able to get the other dealership to trade vehicles they offered me nothing but apologies. I'm shocked at the level of incompetence. Then when taking delivery of the vehicle the salesman kept asking me to give him good reviews when I got the survey from Hyundai. He also called me a few times over the next few days to plead w/ me to give him a good review. That didn't happen. In addition, I later had issues w/ the free XM radio trial that came w/ the car. After getting no where w/ XM themselves they suggested having the dealership call. It took 10+ emails and conversations with my salesman before he was able to get it resolved. Including one instance when he told me a certain feature wasn't included. I actually had to take a picture of the window placard to show him that indeed it was. The issue has mostly since been resolved, but I am still missing a feature and it's simply no longer worth my time to deal w/ the dealership or salesman any more. This is the first Hyundai I've ever purchased and sadly the service provided by this dealership will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth. More

Why? Your associates are always prompt - friendly - informative and caring. I've been bringing my Hyundai to your service technicians for at least 3 years now, I wouldn't dream of taking it anywhere informative and caring. I've been bringing my Hyundai to your service technicians for at least 3 years now, I wouldn't dream of taking it anywhere else, not as long as I receive the treatment I always get there. Tyrell, my service advisor, was very courteous, informative, and thorough in checking out my issues. So far, it appears the problem has been successfully resolved. He kept me informed by telephon informative, and thorough in checking out my issues. So far, it appears the problem has been successfully resolved. He kept me informed by telephone of the progress and the work was completed in a timely manner. The cashier who check me out also was very courteous and friendly. The overall experience was very satisfying. More
Brian handled the work on my car and did a great job as always. I was shuttled to and from my work while he worked on my vehicle which was finished in a timely manner on same day notice. Ryan was able to get me right in on short notice, and he provided quick & thorough diagnosis explanation, arranged for a very nice loaner car, completed the repair in a timely fashion, was extremely friendl provided quick & thorough diagnosis explanation, arranged for a very nice loaner car, completed the repair in a timely fashion, was extremely friendly, and he checked over the entire car, and had it washed! I had to jump my car to get it there on Monday morning, arrived before the doors opened, but also had to be at the oral surgeon by 9:30 in another part of town..
