I recently moved to Arizona from Oregon where I had a 20-year relationship with my Honda dealer. I was concerned that I would not be able to find the same level of service here. As it turns out, I had 20-year relationship with my Honda dealer. I was concerned that I would not be able to find the same level of service here. As it turns out, I had a wonderful experience at Chapman Honda. Friendly,knowledgeable and efficient staff; diligence in finding and fixing issues; and a comforable environment in which to wait for service to be completed. For the last 3 years, I have had all my service done at Chapman. My service writer has always been Angel Gameros, and I could not have been happier with him. One Star is still too High, When I got there I was looking for a used car. The sales team was excited to get me in the seat but there was no motive to make anything work. I asked them to submit to a s looking for a used car. The sales team was excited to get me in the seat but there was no motive to make anything work. I asked them to submit to a specific lender that pre-approved me and that did not happen. Went to the dealership next door that is related to them and left with two cars because they took the time to explain options and make something work for us. I would never suggest Chapman Honda sales team. There was not motivation to help me and my family get our vehicle goal accomplished. They did not have any motivation to take care of us or make things work. More
We had some major work done on our 2017 Fit. Ricky Soto was our service advisor, and he was completely professional, very helpful, and provided us with exemplary customer service. Dealership is ok. Service department is terrible. Expect to wait at least 2 hours just for an oil change, whether you have an appointment or not. It takes them 20 minutes just to have someone talk to you an to wait at least 2 hours just for an oil change, whether you have an appointment or not. It takes them 20 minutes just to have someone talk to you and check you in. And thats with online check in dome ahead of time even. I didn't realize I was gonna have to spend the entirety of my one day off at this place, just for the most basic service you could possibly perform on the car. Thanks chapman. What a joke. More
Made an appointment online. I called before I came and asked how long the recall and oil change would take. I was told 3 hours. Once I showed up, I was told it would be closer to 5 -6 hours. When I dropped the car off I was told it should be ready about noon the next day. Noon came and went with no communication. Then got a text stating some additional things were needed. I approved the additional items and asked how much time it would add. No response. Called service department multiple times, no response from any service person. Called at 5 pm and was told someone would call me back before closing. Never happened. Called next morning, no call back. Gave up at 10:00 and rented a car. No calls or communication despite me begging for status updates. Called at 3pm and stated I would just have my car towed to another dealer, was told car was ready to pick up. I asked multiple times for callbacks, not a single call. Asked to speak to manager and was told they would call me back. Never happened. Still no call, still no answers as to what went wrong. I have purchased my last 2 cars there and had all of my service done there when I lived in Tucson. I will not ever patronize this service center again. More
If I could give a zero, I would. Terrible experience from the finance guy. He hid costs and when I questioned them, he told me several different stories to what I was paying for. This dealership, Chapman Honda, is THE cleanest, friendliest, and most cheerful place to have my car serviced while I waited.
