Carl Arrington was extremely personable and professional. Unfortunately most service advisers today are just order takers like the people working at McDonalds. Carl was so pleasant to work with. I have been getting oil changes at this dealer ship for 5 years now and never had any work done there because I was skeptical of what they recommended needing fixing was true. Also, I believed that the price years now and never had any work done there because I was skeptical of what they recommended needing fixing was true. Also, I believed that the prices were really high so I would take it to a friend of the family's mechanic for years to get everything fixed through them instead of Honda. Today's oil change was different. I had Carl as my service rep for the first time and he truly took care of me, didn't bullshit me about what needed to be done to my car and hooked it up. I got my work done and spent money with that service department for the first time. Carl was professional and really cared about my needs and helped me out tremendously. He is a great human being and I highly recommend going through him for any of your service needs. They now have me as a customer for life. Thanks Carl! More

I took my Honda Element (2005 with 60,000 miles) to Chapman Honda for a Rear Differential Fluid change and a Coolant Flush (because I could see the coolant level is lower than the Minimum mark (which c Chapman Honda for a Rear Differential Fluid change and a Coolant Flush (because I could see the coolant level is lower than the Minimum mark (which can be seen on the reserve tank). The service advisor, Angel Gameros who was assisting me said it should be done within 90 minutes and would call me when that happened. After nearly 3 hours waiting in the lounge area, I walked back to the Service building to check on the status. Co-incidentally, it was just finished up per Mr. Gameros. I paid for the 2 services and went on my way. Later that evening when I needed to refill, I decided to pop the hood and check the coolant level. To my surprise, the coolant level was under the Minimum mark which was exactly where it was before I brought my vehicle to Chapman Honda. I drove home and waited until the Element was cool enough to open the Radiator cap and took a look. I could not see coolant anywhere near being filled besides the residue stuck on the underside of the cap. I called the next day but only got to the voicemail system. Then I proceeded to send an email to Angel Gameros about this situation. 2 business days passed and nothing. With no other choice, I took the Element back and addressed my concern with Mr. Gameos. He was quick to determine there was probably air bubbles in the coolant system. So he took my Element to the service bay and came back 5 minutes later to tell me I was good to go. He mentioned he filled it up with coolant and WATER to be OVER the Maximum level. At that point, I knew there was no hope in dealing directly with him anymore. If one ever read the Honda Owner's Manual or Directions on the Honda OEM Coolant bottle, one would know that Honda Coolant is pre-mixed and no water should be added. It's ridiculous how I could not simply get what I paid for. More astounding is that, after giving Chapman Service a second chance to get it right, they failed to do so. Along with this negative review, I intend on filling complaints with Tucson Southern Arizona Better Business Bureau and Arizona General Attorney's office. More
I've owned the same Honda Accord for 25 years now, and even with over 500K miles, it's still running as smoothly as even (25+ mpg). I think a large part of being able to keep my car running well for and even with over 500K miles, it's still running as smoothly as even (25+ mpg). I think a large part of being able to keep my car running well for all these years is that I have been servicing the car at the same dealership - originally Beaudry and now Chapman - for the entire 25 years. Not only does Chapman do great work (the techs really do take personal pride in keeping my car running smoothly) the service advisors are just that - they advise you on how to keep you car running and safe, but don't pressure you to do unnecessary repairs. Carl has been my service advisor for several years, and he truly takes a sincere personal interest in getting the job done right. There's an old management adage that value trumps price, and that's true at Chapman. Although Chapman is competitive on price, when you look at the entire service experience, Chapman Honda service is without question one of the best values in Tucson. While you might not plan on keeping your car for 25 years as I have, servicing your car at Chapman Honda will definitely keep your car running well as long as you do. More

Pulled in mid-afternoon the day before Thanksgiving after driving 5 hours from El Paso. We had discovered a burned-out headlight while in the Pennington St. Garage after lunch and knew that we were running driving 5 hours from El Paso. We had discovered a burned-out headlight while in the Pennington St. Garage after lunch and knew that we were running out of time to get it fixed before the holiday weekend began. Found Chapman Honda in the GPS, drove over and inquired about the odds of getting in and out with a new headlight fairly quickly. Carl sent me over to parts to buy the bulb myself, thus saving us $20. I brought the bulb back, he had a maintenance technician switch it out in about 30 seconds and we were on our way for $15.57. How often does that happen? Very quick visit, insignificant repair, but fantastic service. Were I ever to live in Tucson, using Chapman Honda for our needs would be a no-brainer. Thanks, Carl! More
