Chapman Honda Customer Service On 5-26-17 I completed information on the Chapman Automotive web site to schedule a test drive of a used car in their inventory. I then traded emails with Spencer Turpin, an online sales associate with Chapman, to confirm my appointment for 10:00 am on 5-27-17. Spencer and I talked on the morning of the 27th, and he assured me that the car I had requested would be available at 10:00 am. When my husband and I arrived at Chapman at 10:00 am for the appointment, the car was not waiting for us. We saw the car being driven off the lot just as we were asking where it was. As it turns out, shortly before we arrived Spencer had given the keys to another salesman. That salesman’s customer was test driving the car. When Spencer said that the car could not be held even if we had an appointment for a test drive, we asked to talk with the manager. Adam, a sales manager, told us, “We can’t hold a car—that would mean taking it out of circulation. What if someone else wants to buy it?” (Well, I wanted to buy it!) He then said I could drive the car when it was returned but that it might already have been sold to the other customer during the test drive. We chose to leave. Selling used cars at Chapman is a cut-throat operation with no consideration or courtesy for individual customers. It was very clear that Chapman Honda takes no responsibility for honoring commitments made to potential customers. I will never again consider buying a car from Chapman. Nor should you! More

I made an appoin My overall experience at Chapman Honda has always been positive, but my last visit was not good. All I needed was a flat tire repair. I made an appointment by phone, showed up and there was no record of my appointment. I was seated in the waiting area and it took 1 hour for a technician to look at the tire. Then a service advisor came out to tell me that the tire was unrepairable, rather than argue and waste more time I decided to buy a new tire. It took another hour for the tire to get mounted, balanced and installed. A flat repair that would've cost me $7 (patch kit from Walmart) and 15 minutes at home, ended up costing over $150 and close to 2.5 hours, I'm really disappointed by the overall experience. More

Easily the best car buying experience I have had I can't thank Devan McDole for the great service he provided in going through every aspect of the 2017 CR-V EX-L when we were test driving and eventua I can't thank Devan McDole for the great service he provided in going through every aspect of the 2017 CR-V EX-L when we were test driving and eventually purchased the car. He kept us informed through the whole process and we are grateful. Even when he gave us the "bad news" that the car had a paint chip that was going to have to be repaired by the paint shop. To Chapman's credit they brought the issue to our attention, will have it fixed professionally by their paint shop (not just filled in with paint repair you can buy in a bottle) and even provide me with a loaner car when I bring it back for the repair. So far my wife and I have had a great experience with Chapman Honda. Could be the making of a lasting relationship... Bob Messenger More

His personal professional manner is a credit not only to Chapman, but to HONDA. Mr. Ginsberg, was knowledgeably accurate, honest, polite, professional. flexible and setting up an appointment was like having a family member give individual personal care! What MORE COULD ANYONE ASK FOR??? IT'S NOT THE PRODUCT ONLY, BUT HOW CUSTOMERS GET TREATED WHEN THINGS ARE NOT QUITE RIGHT!!! THAT is the test of professional care which keeps customers, like me coming back. (as it happened, a serious fall kept me from following through--still, that was no problem and Dave gave such exceptional service and care I called his manager immediately!! Thank YOU, Mr. Dave Ginsberg!!! I finally made it in, and sitting herein obtrusively watching employees work, I see Mr. Ginsberg, quick, and giving great service. I see him such a cut above the norm. and I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that he is of a more experienced generation. Obviously, thorough! He's compassionate to customers, like his own family could not be cared for any better, because it doesn't exsist! Thank you to whomever it was who hired Mr. Ginsberg--YOU, whoever you are, made an exceptional choice! Thank you, also.
