I had a terrible experience with the service department 11/18/2019. I scheduled online for factory maintenance and state inspection. Granted I arrived 10 min late, but they could not find me in the compu 11/18/2019. I scheduled online for factory maintenance and state inspection. Granted I arrived 10 min late, but they could not find me in the computer and I told the lady I needed the factory maintenance for 70,000 miles and a state inspection and that the check engine light was on. The state inspection never got done. And they did a diagnostic without me asking. I asked for the multi inspection but not a diagnostic. They charged me $90 for the diagnostics and told me it would be over $700 to fix some sensor issues. Also they did an oil change and didn’t even put a sticker on my car to remind me for the next oil change. They also didn’t call me to advise me any of this. I had to call them to find out what was happening. I had to pick up my car after the service department closed because I worked all day. They took my credit card information over the phone and told me I could pick up my until 8 pm if I went to the sales department. When I got there the lady gave me the keys. And I asked her where my car was and she didn’t know. She said it’s either on one side of the building or the other. So I had to trek around in the rain to find my car. And it was very dark outside. And it I got the impression no one gave a xxxx. It was a definite cluster* I also found the details on my computer to show where I scheduled. So if anyone needs to see this I can verify this. This system is asking me to rate the individual. I worked with Pamela. She did ok. I’m not happy with what happened from there. ...... So I left the information up that happened to me 11-18 because it happened and nothing will change that fact. It had an impact. BUT Joseph did work it out for me and took off the charge for the diagnostic and he was super nice. So Kia does try to make it better. And Joseph didn’t give me grief or cop an attitude like a lot of other managers from other places. And I’m not one to complain. I don’t like to rock the boat. But I had to In this instance because I felt blind sided. But thanks to Joseph all is well. More
