Do not do business with Carvana. Buyers BEWARE! Carvana registered my car for me, and they messed it up. They did not even bother to contact me. When I called them they told me to go to the DMV to Carvana registered my car for me, and they messed it up. They did not even bother to contact me. When I called them they told me to go to the DMV to get my temp tags expired. I spent 2 hours at the DMV, and they said it is illegal. Carvana put me in a rental car for 30 days. My plates finally arrived after spending hours on hold with Carvana getting the rental car an trying to find out the status of my plates. Once my plates finally arrived there was a mechanical issue with the car. Carvana said they "would" have covered it in the first 45 days. I explained that I was unable to drive the car due to their error. They acted like they would reimburse me, but then they never did. Carvana wants your money, and then they don't care what happens to you from there. They have the WORST customer service, and they are crooks! More

They messed up the payment, I had to pay fees to correct it Recent purchaser of a Fiat 500e. I'm having problems paying for this vehicle. I have enough money in the bank to pay in full, and followed their directions to-the-letter for the Carvana team to inspect my bank account for sufficient funds by giving them my username/password. After this verification they couldn't correctly withdraw the funds when it came time to pay. I have asked several times for an explanation for the payment issue and it seems I get the runaround- from they couldn't find my account to perhaps a number was input incorrectly. They did not attempt to re-verify any of my bank info with me which leads me to believe they are having problems with their banking and/or IT process and putting the expense on me as the consumer to fix the issue. I was given a 4 day deadline to provide payment. Their fix was for me to wire the money to them ($45 at my bank) or by over-nighting a cashier's check ($15 for the check, $20 to overnight via USPS - plus I had to photocopy the check and provide the tracking number). I specifically asked if any of this was my fault and I was told "probably not". I work so I've been spending my lunch breaks going to the bank, and going to the Post Office - then talking on the phone with them since they want daily updates so this is turning into a multi-hour affair over several days. It's a shame because people have commented about the car, how nice it looks and of course the Carvana plates are on the front and rear bumpers so they end up asking about Carvana and the buying experience. I'm going to have to tell them truth now- that Carvana somehow messed up the transaction, pressed a 4-day deadline on me, and I had to pay these extra fees to deliver funds. More

I listed the vehicle online and within a couple of hours was contacted by Kenny at Carvana. After answering some questions I received a solid offer for my vehicle within a day. I worked with Kenny throughout the process and he was very professional, informative, and responsive. Everyone I had contact with was very courteous and knowledgeable. It was a very hassle free process. Even Joe the car hauler driver was great. More
Things went well until it was time for car registration Like a lot of other people, their registration team is a pack of idiots. I called them leading up to the end of the temp tag expiry and got all kinds of BS about how long it takes and I caused delays when the reality is they had the insurance (you can't pick up the car from them without it) and other paperwork already but obviously lost it. The day after the end of my temp tag expiry I get an email from them explaining that their third party has a question for me. Contacting them is impossible, they don't ever call you, only email or online chat, and it's proving to be just as bad as any other car dealer. Just do your own registration and don't use them, they are absolutely useless. More
Great Experience Listed car for sale online, and was getting way too many low ball offers for less than half of the cars market value. Carvana gave me a fair price on Listed car for sale online, and was getting way too many low ball offers for less than half of the cars market value. Carvana gave me a fair price on the car, leaving room for both myself and them to be happy. They are in the industry of wholesale purchasing. So you can’t expect to get street value of a car, but they def gave me a great price for the car. Would def work with them again. More
It is TRUE Carvana has HIGHER prices. I honestly wanted to purchase a car from Carvana, but I have done 150 hours or more pricing research and trust me when I tell you dealerships JUST lik I honestly wanted to purchase a car from Carvana, but I have done 150 hours or more pricing research and trust me when I tell you dealerships JUST like Carvana have to make a profit. There is no such thing as profit free business. I looked at countless websites and visited 51 dealerships. The bottom line for me was just that, the bottom line: Price plus tax. I bought at my local dealership because even though it would have been a fun gimmick to get my car from a vending machine, the consumer pays for that and the other 15 machines that are out there. But my local dealership has people, people just like me trying to make a living and I guess that meant more to me than buying my car at a vending machine when it meant I had to pay $4,751 MORE than any other dealership I went to. That is the price of doing business with Carvana. The dealership charged a fee yes. It was $157 more. $4751 or $157 to me it was a no brainer. But boy did I EVER research it. More
