The savings off list price at the expense of frustrations, hassles, and multiple phone calls over a 3 week period... Depends how much time you have and how much that time is worth to you. Yes, there’s no “negotiations” on the price, but that’s even with they screw up. We ended up having 4 delays, change of pick up location, and ultimately changing the vehicle. When it finally arrived, it was damaged and will now have to be in the shop for another week. More
Worst experience. Was told I had to wait to purchase Carvana care until I left and they could not help me. Would not have left with vehicle if I had known that. Battery was dead needed to buy new batter Carvana care until I left and they could not help me. Would not have left with vehicle if I had known that. Battery was dead needed to buy new battery, crack in windshield, and they told me tire pressure was off there was a nail in tire and had to get that fixed as well. I left with the vehicle know omg had to buy a new battery which was fine I was told I would be reimbursed. But they didn’t tell me any of this until about an hour before I went to get the vehicle. By this point I had already gotten rid of other vehicle transferred insurance over to new vehicle. And so I was willing to deal with issues and get resolved on my own. However this should have all been fixed and checked prior to the day of me coming to pick my vehicle up which I had purchased weeks in advance. I would not have been as upset if I hadn’t been misled and told to purchase Carvana care once I leave. Due to the problems with the vehicle prior to leaving I would have said let’s postpone me getting vehicle so I can purchase Carvana care. Overall would not recommend Carvana after this experience. More

I was treated with respect the entire time. I also had my mechanic look over the car as well and he said he has never seen such a nice quality used car before. I am extremely thankful for this experience! I was extremely nervous and so happy that this was amazing <3 More

The car they sold me has an illegal air intake modification on it and it will not pass emissions in California. I called to try to fix it and they told me two things: They dont sell cars with ille modification on it and it will not pass emissions in California. I called to try to fix it and they told me two things: They dont sell cars with illegal modifications, and they dont sell cars that dont pass emissions. Both of these things are obviously false. Nothing was done to remedy the situation. If you buy a car from Carvana it may be a good idea to have a third party mechanic check the vehicle. More
Firstly I am the current owner of a Carvana vehicle. Told everyone from friends and family how quick, easy and painless the process was. When it came time for my wife to purchase a newer vehicle I talked her everyone from friends and family how quick, easy and painless the process was. When it came time for my wife to purchase a newer vehicle I talked her into going the Carvana route. The two experiences could not have been more different. Vehicle was missed represented on their web site, both in the description and using the filter. Vehicle was listed as 3rd row seating, it was delivered on time but missing the listed 3rd row. The Carvana representative that delivered the vehicle reassured us that Carvana would make it right, which I believed as my past experience was positive. As this vehicle is on a universal frame that already has the bolt pattern for the third row installed we offered to pay for a mechanic to install it if they would pay the 300 dollars for the seat and bracket. After a few phone calls and a lot of lip service they did offer a 100 dollars for the inconvenience. I have already paid the prorate on my 6 month insurance policy, as directed to do for the drop off, so keeping the vehicle is in my best interest also. They will have to pay for the pick up and delivery of another vehicle or to get our trade in back to us. This is another problem with their business model, along with others list on the BBB, it's more expensive to keep transporting vehicles back and forth than the cost of an advantages solution for both parties. I as well as most people would be fired form my job for not taking the cheaper option for my company and keeping the client happy. So I echo what a lot of these reviewers have said byer beware. If you want to be lied to and play bait and switch games stick to the old buy here pay here lots at least you can see the vehicle before you buy it or pay to switch insurance on it. Expected more from this company, you have lost yet another retuning customer over a minor fix. Keep up the good work Carvana. More

Refreshing Experience I don't think I'll ever go to a traditional dealership again. I was very pleased with the ease and convenience of buying a car through Carvana. If you are ok with selecting 5 top picks and ok with purchasing any one of them as it comes available, then being kept in the dark about when your car ships, mine took 11 days and then not being able to purchasing any one of them as it comes available, then being kept in the dark about when your car ships, mine took 11 days and then not being able to drive it until you exhaust efforts in finding the license registration department to get your printed temp. license, then this is the place for you! ps. I like my car, but carvana didn't build it, so there's that. Cheers! More
