Excellent experience! Very simple, straight forward, and no car dealer sales people pressure. I picked a car, got a contract with all fees and costs disclosed, and took care of all purchase details on line. I turned in my trade in and picked up my car-no problem. I did not want it, but the webpage seemed to only give me 2 choices, 2yr or 4yr, no third choice of 'no thank you'. I was able to cancel the extra warranty later, but the charge still ended up on my loan. I am told the refund will be applied to my principle, and I guess that will be ok, just not ideal. Other than that, the whole experience was good. I will most likely shop for cars thru Carvana again. More

Carvana's nationwide reach and free home delivery helped me find a relatively rare vehicle that I was searching for: a **manual transmission** Honda Accord Sport 2.0L. However, the delivery was delayed by me find a relatively rare vehicle that I was searching for: a **manual transmission** Honda Accord Sport 2.0L. However, the delivery was delayed by two week due to transport damage. That wasn't a huge deal, since I fortunately did not need to have the car immediately. However, after the delay that was supposedly to fix transport damage, it was delivered with a damaged back bumper. Damage that was definitely not shown in the online product details and photos. The staffer who did the home delivery was extremely friendly and helpful, documenting the damage and initiating a claim with Carvana to have it fixed at no cost. Unfortunately, it took days for Carvana to start that process, which involved kicking the damage issue over to its third party warranty company, which in turn kicked it to a local branch of a big corporate collision repair chain. The Carvana authorization for the claim referenced the wrong end of the car, which the warranty company indicated would guarantee the claim being denied. That required 30 minutes of hold time to speak with Carvana to correct the claim description. Then a wait for the update from the warranty company. Then a days-long wait to get a time slot for an assessment at the collision center. Then another 7-10 business day delay for the claim to be approved. Then another delay to schedule the work. Then days of no car. Ultimately, I got exactly the car I wanted in overall excellent condition (other than the gouged back bumper). Since this is basically an extra car for my household for now, none of this will ruin my life, but it's inflicting a serious opportunity cost in lost time. If it were a local dealer, I would expect a much less bureaucratic process to get damage that happened in dealer custody fixed quickly and with a loaner car provided. More

This was one of the best experiences I have ever had with buying a vehicle. The web site has it all and you can see what you are getting in full detail. Love it. Thank you Carvana buying a vehicle. The process online was a breeze, I wouldn't fault them for my late registration due to current closures. However, the manager at the Sacramento location is inept at doing their job. I received my init for my late registration due to current closures. However, the manager at the Sacramento location is inept at doing their job. I received my initial e-mail from with grammatical mistakes and my name was even spelled wrong, so initially I actually mistook it for spam/phishing attempt. They also called me the day of to tell me they hadn't gotten the car to pass the smag yet so they couldn't confirm they would be there until later that day. When I got the car, the associate told me "Careful! My manager tried cleaning the car *right* before I took it, so it still might be wet". And it was. It left water stains all over seats and left my pants wet after the test drive. The inside of the car was also not cleaned well, and even had someone else's midterm exam in there. I ended up wiping everything down/dissenfecting it myself. And my "Carvana tumbler" gift was literally broken. Though these things do not deter from the value of the car, it shows a huge lack of attention to detail and made me lose confidence in Carvana. However, chatting with online representatives about the status of my registration or any questions I had was always a breeze. The car had more visible flaws than shown in pics (poor exterior cosmetic "fixes" and torn steering wheel) , but that was to be expected from the process and wasn't excessive and you are able to check it out before test driving it. Overall, I would look to Carvana again for a used car purchase but do some research on the branch that will handle the delivery. More
