I purchased my first car through Carvana, a pre-owned 2013 MINI, mainly as a result of the pandemic situation but I had been curios about them for some time as the business model seemed plausible and the 2013 MINI, mainly as a result of the pandemic situation but I had been curios about them for some time as the business model seemed plausible and they had good commercials. I also liked how their website was slick, easy to use, and their large inventory. I had been looking for this particular model and make for some time, and Carvana was the only one that I saw at a reasonable price and good condition. The process was very simple, although still lengthy, but all my questions were answered in a timely manner, so I was pleased with the customer service. The car arrived early on the delivery day, which was great. A lot of the reviews I saw prior to my purchase did not have great things to say about the 150 point inspection. Cosmetically my car arrived as described and pictured. When i took the car for a pre-purchase inspection, there were a few things that were in need of immediate repair. I think this service was something that should have come up in Carvana's own inspection, as the car made noises while driving. The mechanic did say that it looked like the car was in good condition otherwise, and had some work done on it, (new tires, cleaned filters, new fluids were new, etc). So, I'll give Carvana a 4/5 on the service. The issue I'm currently dealing with is on SilverRock insurance, which I decided to purchase despite bad reviews as MINIs are notorious for requiring expensive repairs as they get older. The car had a cracked friction wheel and water pump pulley, but SilverRock would not cover the water pump pulley because they deemed it wasn't broken enough to require immediate attention. I guess they rather it fully break and have the car be more seriously damaged. I'm really saving them money by doing this preventative service, but I guess this is just insurance companies doing what they do best (not pay). I will recommend Carvana in general, easy to use, nice website, and from what I can tell really good quality inventory. I already have a bad feeling about SilverRock, and I have 4 more years of "coverage" through Carvana Care so I hope they're more amenable to covering future service costs, but who knows. One recommendation I will give Carvana is to provide more options for insurance, maybe have more partners so consumers can pick? More

I shopped for a few weeks looking at different options in the price range that I wanted to pay and the ease to do this was well to be honest easy ! I shopped for a few weeks looking at different options in the price range that I wanted to pay and the ease to do this was well to be honest a lot easier than going to dealership after dealership in person or even online, I purchased my Acura and had a 7 day or 400 mile trial on the car (my goodness where can you get that from a dealer) to keep or return. I am keeping and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Now if I can keep my wife from taking my car instead of hers I will be great lol. The delivery of the car was spot on. They were running about 30 minutes behind schedule and they sent email to let me know. It was a great experience buying a car this way and I would recommend to all my family and friends. I previously gave a 5 star review because everything seemed to be wonderful. However, I purchased my car on June 11th and today is October 22nd and I STILL do not have my license plates! I totally under seemed to be wonderful. However, I purchased my car on June 11th and today is October 22nd and I STILL do not have my license plates! I totally understand that Covid has some affect on this, but I contacted Carvana SEVERAL times checking on the status and was told it was in process every time. Then on August 20th when I still hadn't received my plates yet (and my temp tag was expired) I was told that they hadn't submitted my registration yet! And it's been an on-going battle every since! They said that if I wanted to drive my car that I would need to purchase a new temp tag (which they would reimburse). I asked if I could just go to my local BMV and get the plates myself and they said no. My husband bought a vehicle (not from Carvana) in September and had his plates within 2 weeks. I have friends that have gotten new cars and had their plates within a week or 2 also, so I know it isn't the BMV that's holding it up! I'm going on 5 MONTHS and still do not have plates! I have to put my car away for the winter and I was hoping to drive it a few more times (haven't been able to drive it in weeks because of the plates), but I guess that's not going to happen! :( More
