Mostly good. Car was delivered without being fully checked over or detailed. Missing the cover for the fuse panel and I have to use my time and gas to go to an authorized service center to address. Previous owner's stuff in the hatch (some leaked). Promised a 100 credit toward detailing. We'll see... Had a few more dings than were listed but nothing major. The positive: Price quoted was price I paid. No hidden fees or haggling. They delivered car on time and registration process seems like it will be easy. Car delivery was delayed by one week which was super inconvenient. When car was finally delivered, it was not detailed (crumbs in cup holders and floor mats dirty). Where to start? Trying to purchase this car has been the biggest headache of my life. From checking available funds at the time of purchase, to multiple delayed deliveries, to receiving a DIRTY car with dog biggest headache of my life. From checking available funds at the time of purchase, to multiple delayed deliveries, to receiving a DIRTY car with dog hair everywhere (that they claimed to have detailed before delivery), to poor customer service, to dealing with SilverRock warranty claims. They claim that the rust that is under the car is normal wear and tear for a 4 year old car, except that my 10 year old car doesn't have an ounce of rust under the bottom of it. They won't fix this issue. I don't feel like I received the transparency they claim to have within this company. It has been the biggest headache. I was promised a $100 from two different Carvana Advocates after the 7 day trial which hasn't been received. I had to self-register my car since my state is a self-register state, so I had to pay for registration twice, and I am still awaiting my reimbursement on that. More
Very good experience. I'd rate it 4 1/2 stars. Was not flawless. First delivery was very punctual and the hauler driver was friendly, but the car had visible transport damage in two places on the hood. I flawless. I was offered the option of taking care of the damage locally and being compensated for the deductible, but I did not need/want the headache, so I declined. The car was hauled away and repaired; re-delivery was nine days after the first attempt. Fortunately the delivery delay worked out okay with my schedule; I travel a lot for extended periods, so it could have been disruptive, but it wasn't. The second hauler driver was also punctual and friendly. The damage repair looked great. The registration process was completed in three weeks; I received the license plate and registration via FedEx sooner than I expected. I'm happy with the car. The selection & buying process felt better than buying from a conventional dealership. More
I am very very very happy with my carvana experience!! from the very first day of the pre approval.. I only had one mix up of miscommunication and when I called in the Manager helped me out with it right from the very first day of the pre approval.. Carvana delivered the car to me on March 4th. Mechanical issues fully resolved by June 7th. All issues were covered under the SiverRock Limited Warranty (5 days remaining). NOTE: I did have to pay an ext issues fully resolved by June 7th. All issues were covered under the SiverRock Limited Warranty (5 days remaining). NOTE: I did have to pay an extra $100 for two repairs at the Chevy dealership because Pep Boys couldn't do it. Purchase and delivery experience with Carvana was excellent. One annoyance: they delivered it with only about 5 miles of charge range on it so I didn't get to test drive for very long. NOTE: Anyone buying an EV: request a dash picture of it fully/partially charged before delivery. The car had mechanical issues. But honestly, I like the car so much I was willing to go through the ordeal of getting it repaired. It was a pain. A lot of running around between Pep Boys and the Chevy dealership. Issues: 1) Rear window wiper replaced. Rubber was rotting off. 2) TPMS sensor failure on Front Passenger side tire pressure sensor 3) Both rear tires have significant dry rot 4) The dash compass antenae replaced was only showing "CAL" on display. 5) Tie rod ends replaced to address various "clunking" sounds. Didn't work so took it in again and was fixed after replacing whole rack-and-pinion. Warranty Paid: $3365 Paid by me: $100 After all of this, it probably seems strange that I would give Carvana a nice review. But to be fair, they were smart to provide this limited warranty system with SilverRock. Without the warranty, I probably would have just returned it to Carvana. More
