The entire episode was a waste of time. Delivery kept being delayed. No one would respond to my inquires. I originally intended on just selling my pick-up truck to Carvana because their offer was really simple and straight forward, and I got the best price from them compared to my local dealerships. My truck was mint so I wanted top dollar for it and I think Carvana was fair with their offer price. I then decided to take a look and see what Carvana had to offer if I wanted to convert selling my truck to a trade in towards a new vehicle so I looked around their website and found a car I was very interested in. Carvana did a pretty good job listing all the imperfections the car had on their website. I would say they did a 4 star out of 5 star job with exterior accuracy. The only exterior issue I found was that there was a minor blemish on the front bumper of the car that was not noted on their website pictures (again it was minor and really not all that noticeable so I didn't sweat it). The interior accuracy was pretty much dead on except that the door speaker didn't work, and that was the only other issue I had. Other than that, it literally took me about 30 minutes from the time I walked in, dropped off my truck, signed paperwork and then received my car. Their price on the newer car I bought was fair as well given the market for used cars and inflation. I can honestly say I am satisfied with their offer price on buying my truck as well as the selling price on the car I purchased. The only other tiny issue I had was that their detail crew missed a couple spots in the car when they cleaned it. The rear seat cup holder had a little crud in it as well as the rug along the driver seat. I would say the detail crew did a 4.5 star cleaning out of a 5 star. I will add this: make sure you read the terms when you're in the process of buying the car through the website because there are several bits of information Carvana needs before you arrive at the store which if you complete in advance will definitely speed up your transaction time. If I didn't read the details and waited to do what was needed at the time I arrived, it could've easily taken another hour or so to complete the transaction. I highly advise calling their customer service line after you are approved for a purchase and make sure you have everything ready to go. Their customer service representatives are very pleasant to work with and very clear. I could tell they wanted to make sure I was good to go. The in-store representative was nice as well. The interior of the store is very simple but clean and easy to wait in. My overall experience with Carvana was pretty good and moving forward, I'll check with them first when I'm ready to sell, trade or buy again before I check my local dealerships. It was just a straight forward, no BS experience. They give you 7 days to basically try out the car and make sure you like it before commit to keeping it and if you don't like it, you simply return it for a full money back guarantee. On top of that, they include a full bumper to bumper warranty for 100 days or 4000 miles, whichever comes first and it's free. Good luck getting that somewhere else. I think Carvana is very fair with how they deal with you. The car I traded my truck in for was 11 years old but had very low miles and looked like it was in excellent condition from the online virtual showcase. When I arrived in person, it still looked like it was in excellent condition and drove like a champ. I was impressed overall and I kept the car past the 7 day trial period. The tires were in great shape, brakes and rotors were good, fluids looked full and new and no leaks that I could see at all. I would've given 5 stars if the door speaker was listed as not working, that one bumper blemish was noted and the car was detailed just a tiny bit more than it was. If I could have selected 4.5 stars, I would have. I think you can deal in confidence with Carvana. More
