Was planning to wait on coach but was told appt wouldn’t be honored due to busy schedule, and work wouldn’t be done til following Monday. We were on trip traveling from Illinois to western North Dakota and Madison was on our route. We returned Monday to pick up RV and staff couldn’t find the work ticket, couldn’t locate the RV, lost the keys...we were then told the work was actually completed on Saturday, but we weren’t informed. It took staff, including Matt, almost 2 hours to locate paperwork, RV, and keys, plus another 20 minutes to get through cashier. There seems to be poor communication between repairs and service staff. Much of our delays were blamed on Tyler who apparently didn’t work there any longer. Matt had just begun working at camping world. He had difficulty with the computer system, couldn’t amend any of Tyler’s original work order on original scheduled appointment.. Justin tried to help Matt but was busy dealing with his unhappy customers. David, who works in parts, did contribute to solving the mysteries surrounding the work completed. In summary, it seems CW overbooks work orders, knowing schedules won’t be met, fails to recognize appointments really mean maybe, and we won’t return to this location for any additional parts or service. This experience was a major disappointment and we will find another service center. Another disgruntled customer told us there was a better facility a short distance away. There seemed to be many unhappy callers and customers in the time we spent at this CW. We hope you avoid this location and experience. P.s. we did not purchase our coach here. More

The Sales man Mark A. was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions and gave us great advice we would never of thought of. Technician Tim did an excellent job showing us everything we needed to know. We pulled out with our new camper feeling confident. The store walk through helped with knowing what to do to keep our camper in great shape and we were able to purchase some items that Mark and Tim recommended we add. Ed K was able to give us a phenomenal ending price. We are very happy and super excited to do some camping with our toys More

We arrived at this dealer in the morning where our problem was checked out very quickly. The told us to go have lunch and come back by 6 o’clock and spend the night there They would take care of the problems in the next morning This they did before noon. They helped us get the bill covered through warrentees and original point of sale. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. We were very impressed with the overall management at Camping World Madison especially because we hadn’t bought the unit from this store More

Shady business practices, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE We found an C Class RV that we wanted to purchase, we put a deposit down, since we are out of state we gave our credit card information over email per We found an C Class RV that we wanted to purchase, we put a deposit down, since we are out of state we gave our credit card information over email per their request, we already had financing, but they said they could probably do better So we waited a few days for them to get that together, then they advised us that me and it was no longer available and it had been sold from underneath this. The business manager, David, was of zero help in financing, and the salesman, mark exceptionally inadequate in his follow-up, promises and dealings! We were told this information by email, and the cowards have yet to respond back to re-quest for clarification, and we requested that the general manager call us. No follow-up to date! We are filing a dispute with the Better Business Bureau, and have put in a call to our attorney. Again, they were advised that we already had our own financing, and now that they ran our credit again, we take a ding for hard inquiry just to have the unit sold from underneath this! This location is extremely Shady and I suggest buyer beware! More

Highly Recommended I had a reoccurring issue with my 5th wheel camper and made contact with Jason the Camping World service manager in Madison who made accommodations fo I had a reoccurring issue with my 5th wheel camper and made contact with Jason the Camping World service manager in Madison who made accommodations for me to stop in as I was passing through Madison (I live in Illinois). Upon arrival, Jason, Shawn, Tyler, and two other people from the service department immediately starting to investigate the issue once I arrived (similar to a NASCAR pit crew). Within the next hour, they identified and repaired this complex issue, and I was able to continue on my way to go camping that weekend. I highly recommend this service department based on my positive experience, and must commend Jason for great communication and coordination to repair our camper. More

Buyer Beware.....Read Everything. This was my first new camper purchase...I was so excited....not anymore. Buyer Beware...we purchased a new camper only to find that they added $910 This was my first new camper purchase...I was so excited....not anymore. Buyer Beware...we purchased a new camper only to find that they added $9100.00 to our loan for extras....when I called and was upset, Dave said, " I cannot believe I was pulled away for a call like this." Way to go Dave! The cost of extras was never explained to us...we were charged $1995.00 for someone to spray a can of stuff on our camper...it only took him 10 minutes. We have always kept our campers indoors...this make no sense to me. I will never go back...be careful...read everything...if you get Travis as the financial guy...run!! If I could, I would take the camper back. I have been a buyer by trade for over 25 years, I have never been more disappointed in a retailer and have dealt with a lot. More
