They co I purchased a certified used 3 series with extended warranty. The airbag indicator light came on at least twice sometimes three times a year.. They could never figure out why. They would do something to reset it and it always came back on. Now that its no longer under warranty they refused to repair it. Now I can't get an inspection sticker. I can't legally drive my car. The service manager claims I caused this to happened. I could not believe the bull he came up with. Please stay away from Brian Harris BMW. This is the worst experience of my life. More

Worst BMW dealer I have seen in 40 years These are jerks that are over prices, deliver crappy work and don't deliver ANY work within the given time frame. I wish there was another BMW dealer These are jerks that are over prices, deliver crappy work and don't deliver ANY work within the given time frame. I wish there was another BMW dealer somewhere around - this "company" does NOT deserve your (or ANY) business. They cannot even manage to get somebody to answer the phone during the day. DISGUSTING service. I already complained at BMW, but they don't seem to care. It was for sure the last time that I bought a BMW. More
The Worse Experience Ever!!!!! The car I purchased was beautiful but had mechanical issues that should've been addressed in their 50 point inspection. They have been dodging my call The car I purchased was beautiful but had mechanical issues that should've been addressed in their 50 point inspection. They have been dodging my calls and emails since I drove it off the lot. They advertise free shipping, but the salesman knew nothing about it. More
Worst dealership ever Car has been at the dealership for over a week, parts are not there, they have no idea when they will come in and no idea if they have really been ord Car has been at the dealership for over a week, parts are not there, they have no idea when they will come in and no idea if they have really been ordered. All while the car is taken apart... Lied to my daughter about loaner not being available, then supposedly they don't give out loaners if your car is older than 2008.... seriously, I am not joking, they are really that dumb. She called 3 times, left voice mails to get an update and nobody ever called back. Great service! Over-priced services and not what should be expected from a BMW dealer. I also complained at BMW corporate about their rotten tomato in the south. More
Buyer Beware I would not do business with Brian Harris BMW. Three weeks after the sale, the finance manger, Steve, calls to inform me that he made a mistake and t I would not do business with Brian Harris BMW. Three weeks after the sale, the finance manger, Steve, calls to inform me that he made a mistake and that I owed 2K in sales tax - whoa!! How can that be Steve? Well, I thought your traded 2011 car was financed and not leased and therefore the tax credit was revoked - you owe it. Hmmmm, you mean to tell me that everyone involved in the three hours I was there knew the car was a lease being turned in except you, the finance manager? And you’re telling me this is not uncommon? Yes, that is correct. Steve, I turned in a 2011 for a 2011, didn’t you think I was being ripped off if indeed I had turned in a financed car? I would not know that and YOU should have noticed the sales tax. Also, It is written in the contract that if there are any additional taxes or fees the customer is responsible. But the Tax and Title were written into the contract???? There are no checks in place to make sure this doesn’t happen? Well, It happens and I hate making these phone calls. Sounds very suspicious and a terrible way to conduct business. (Steve sounding testy) You want a new contract then? It was your mistake and I do not think I should have to pay 2K for something you say is an "oversight" on your part. A deal was made and now I owe 2K more. I can find out who you send the check to at the state or we can write a new contract. Great, do that Steve. **I have yet to hear back from Brian Harris After talking to several colleagues/friends (some of who know Mr. Harris and Son-in-law) not one of them thinks this is an equitable way to conduct business, especially for such a brand as BMW. According to Steve the finance manger, the above is not an uncommon oversight - BUYER BEWARE. I am publishing the above in as many places as I can find. More

My wife made an appointment to have her oil change. I thought the reason to make an appointment was to assure that it gets done that day, but apparently not. She dropped her car off at 9:30 this morning thought the reason to make an appointment was to assure that it gets done that day, but apparently not. She dropped her car off at 9:30 this morning (which was her appointment time), and went back to pick it up at 2:30 this afternoon. It was still parked where she left it. Their excuse was they were too busy. That's the whole reason an appointment was made!!! I definitely would not recommend this dealership to anyone!!!! More
My wife's car would not start and she was stranded in Baton Rouge - she had it towed to this dealership who proceeded to grossly overcharge her for the repair. The car was found to need a simple elect Baton Rouge - she had it towed to this dealership who proceeded to grossly overcharge her for the repair. The car was found to need a simple electronic ignition switch - something that can be changed in 1/2 an hour. They indicate they charge 3x standard BMW repair times which is a lie. They charged us 3 hours for a 1/2 hour repair - more than quadruple actual time and double what they should have charged based on their own stated policy. They also charged 20 minutes to change a simple plug and play light bulb that took all of 2 minutes to change. Plus the parts cost was 30% higher than the next closes BMW dealership. These people way overcharge - shop repair costs and parts costs elsewhere to see just how much! Would have been worth towing to New Orleans instead of using Brian Harris BMW - the car was not even in service for three hours! More
This dealership must benefit from the limited numbers of sources for a Mini Cooper in the State. Service was very friendly until the paperwork was signed, then faded and has been non-existent since we took sources for a Mini Cooper in the State. Service was very friendly until the paperwork was signed, then faded and has been non-existent since we took delivery. Several E-mailed questions to the salesman received no response or a non-response. Once example: we asked if the cargo net that comes with the car stretches along the hatch floor, or across the hatch opening. The response (verbatim); "The car comes with a cargo net." We live 4.5 hrs. from this dealer. The car was not properly checked when the dealership received it. Even though it was sitting 3 feet from the salesman's desk, he allowed us to drive the 4.5 hours to pick it up. When we pointed out the obvious 3 inch scratch to bare metal he said 'I didn't know.' After telling us the scratch would be repaired, we received a call telling us it could not be fully repaired without re-painting the hatch, (which would devalue the car). At this point we asked that they either order a replacement or discount the car. The dealership was resistant to doing either. Finally they agreed to a re-negotiated price and to deliver the car to us with the rebate check. Then they called to say they could not send the check with the car, but wanted us to take delivery anyway. We agreed, but only if they would send us in writing a promise to forward the check. The salesman agreed to provide this. When the porter drove into our driveway to deliver the car, we still had nothing in writing. Our phone call to the dealership floor rang and rang with no answer. The porter gave us the salesman's cell phone number and we called and also got no response. When we finally made contact with the salesman he advised us that he had been 'busy.' He told us he had the check, that it only needed a signature and that it would be mailed by 6/28/11. This proved to be untrue. Two e-mails sent directly to the General Manager received no response. An e-mail sent to the sales floor asking about the check received this response: 'Thank you for doing business with us.If you have questions at any time, please don't hesitate to contact us.' We did eventually receive the check. Then we received a card advising us that we could pick up the tag 'at our convenience.' Again calls were transferred to a phone that was never answered and my husband had to drive another 4.5 hours to pick it up. I would not recommend this dealership. More
