I will no longer do business here I am sorry to say that after my visit on Friday I will no longer be doing business at BMW Brian Harris. My first bad experience was a few months ago, I am sorry to say that after my visit on Friday I will no longer be doing business at BMW Brian Harris. My first bad experience was a few months ago, when all BMW service business was being done in the Porsche building. I was extremely inconvenienced when I made an appointment to have my brakes done, two week prior to my appointment date. Got confirmation call and an email and everything. On the day of my appointment, no service car was available so I had to borrow my sisters car for the day. Dropped my car off at 8 am. They said it would be done at 3. 3 comes, I call and they say it will be done at 4. I come at 4 to pick up my car just to be told that they didn’t have the parts to complete my service!!!!!! I didn’t come back to Brian Harris for a couple months. Friday I had another appointment. I stated I wanted my front brake pads changed and an oil change. I said that if nothing else was done I at least needed the oil change. So I dropped my car off at 7:30am. Again no service car available so once again I have to borrow a car from a family member. They told me it would be ready before 5. Around 4 I never received a call so I called them. Spoke with Lewis. He stated that they were still working on “putting everything back together”. He said they never changed the brake pads because it needed routers too. $1200. So I asked about the oil change and he stated they did it already. So my husband is at work. I call him and let him know They’re about done and he can head that way to pick it up. My husband leaves work, gets a ride to pick up our car to get there and Lewis says they’re not done. This is 5:30. My husband has me on FaceTime and asks me why I told him to come if they weren’t done. I said “Lewis said they did the oil change and they’re putting it back together” and Lewis again standing close to my husband says yes they did the oil change and are almost done putting it back together. I’ll check now. So my husband hangs up with me. 5 minutes later my husband calls back and states that They never did ANYTHING to my car. No oil change. No brakes. They kept my car from 7:30am til 5:30pm and didn’t do a single thing I needed. FOR THE SECOND TIME! My husband complains to the manager who “fixes” the problem by saying to bring it back tomorrow and he’ll make sure it gets done!!!!! xxx! another day I’m supposed to trust you? Another day I’m supposed to be inconvenienced? Yeah right. This is bad business and coming from a small business owner myself I would never do my customers this way. Customers trust companies to do their job correctly the first time. And here I have given too many chances. For such a big company to be doing bad business was surprising but I am done. I will no longer do business at Brian Harris. More

They kept my car all day no calls, no return calls to my 4 calls and at the end of the day 4:30pm I’m pissed about no return calls they tell me oh we have been busy your service advisor will have to call you tomorrow! I say no I dropped my car off yesterday, your gonna tell me nobody looked at it all day! Needless to say, 5 min later I received a call back saying the fixed a fuse n found nothing else wrong with car. Picked my car up n still heard the same noise they didn’t hear!! xxxxxxxxx xxx dealership!! More

They took care of our urgent repair in record time!! My wife and I were traveling through Baton Rouge on our way to Nachitoches on a Friday afternoon in the middle of rush hour. The air conditioner in my 2018 BMW 440ix 2-door coupe stopped blowing cold air - the exterior temperature was 101 degrees Fahrenheit!! With less than 2 hours before closing, the service department diagnosed the issue, solved the problem, got the AC blowing ice cold again, and we were comfortably on the road again. More

Tire issue I brought my car in last Friday after I got off work because my tire was reading 5 pounds lower than my other tires. I explained this at the service c I brought my car in last Friday after I got off work because my tire was reading 5 pounds lower than my other tires. I explained this at the service center and was told it would be looked at. I made myself a cup of coffee and sat in the waiting area. It was maybe 5 minutes later and I was told that my tire was fine, it was probably just the heat causing the pressure reading diffrence, the sensor had been reset and my car was waiting for me right out front. I got in my car to leave and not only was the tire still reading 5 pounds low, the sensor had not been reset. Basically, my concerns were just blown off. Ive dealt with this low tire pressure issue all week but, being told it was fine and probably the heat I kept trying to reset the pressure reading. I decided to bring the car back in today before work (now a week later) with the same unresolved issue. I reiterated that I had brought the car in last Friday and was told the tire was fine and the sensor was reset...which was not done. I asked for the tire to be rechecked because it was now reading 6 pounds lower than my other tires and every time I started the car the sensor stated on the screen low tire pressure. They took my key fob and brought the car in the back. Within 10 minutes I was told that there was a large egg on the inside wall of the tire that couldn’t be seen until the car was put up on the rack...the tire definitely had to be replaced. I bought my X1 because of its safety and performance ratings, the vehicle is equipped with sensors for a reason. The tire pressure sensor read over 5 pounds low for over a week for a reason. The sensor reading told me to take the vehicle in to be checked...I did. If someone would have taken the time to just look the egg on the inside of the tire would have been seen. I came into the service center after work on a Friday. I was sent on my way in less than 15 minutes driving on a tire that could have blown at any time. I drove my car after being told my tire was fine when it most certainly was not. I drive primarily on the interstate...what if my tire blew at 70 mph? I purchased tire and rim protection when I bought the vehicle so it was zero issue for me to replace the tire. The tire was replaced today for which I am grateful...that’s the only reason I rated the service center 3 stars. I am very displeased with being blown off on a Friday afternoon and sent on my way driving on a tire that was an accident waiting to happen. More
