I was interested in a Volvo XC70 because it seemed to be one of the two or three cars that best fit my needs. I was prepared to go to several dealerships but when I first went to Boston Volvo Village I quic one of the two or three cars that best fit my needs. Working with Marc Fasten was a real pleasure. He was personable, not pushy, knowledgeable and worked with me closely and patiently to take care of all the little details, as well as the big ones, that inevitably come up with a purchase of a car. I had limited time to spend when I was doing the buying but Marc made everything easy. The best praise I can give is that there is a good friend and colleague of mine who is thinking about selling his Saab wagon (one of which I used to drive). I have already recommended to him Boston Volvo Village and Marc Fasten on the strength of my experience. I know if he acts on my recommendation he will be as satisfied as I am. More

I stopped off at the dealership one evening 2 years ago to "look" at the new S60. Russell was extremely knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. More importantly, however, when I had to be persistent with the service department, Russell acted as a go-between, stood up for me, and helped to resolve the issues in a most satisfactory manner. I would recommend Russell to anyone--I've purchased many cars, and I've never had this much fun through the process. As for the service department, Steve Duffy is the most knowledgeable and patient person at the dealership--he knows the vehicles inside and out. He spent all kinds of time helping to resolve a problem I had with a chassis vibration, working through various causes and solutions until he and Sal Amica, the shop foreman, came up with the right one. Russell and Steve are now my "team," and I couldn't be more pleased. More
