I had the good fortune to break down after owning my car for only 5 days and less than 500 miles. I live in the Philly area and I just bought my 2005 Volvo S60 at a large dealership (Non-Volvo). It had a for only 5 days and less than 500 miles. I live in the Philly area and I just bought my 2005 Volvo S60 at a large dealership (Non-Volvo). It had a clean carfax with 100% dealer service and looked like it was loved for 76,000 miles, plus it had a warranty. While traveling in the Boston area, my car developed problems and was running on 3 cylinders. The nearest Volvo dealership was Boston Volvo Village, about 25 minutes away, and I was able to limp over there after speaking with Adam Centauro. It was 4:00 pm and Adam really put me at ease and suggested that I bring it over and ask for the shop foreman, John Higgins, a Master Volvo Technician with 28 years of experience. It turned out to be a problem with the coil packs on two cylinders, so the suggested repair was to replace all 5 coils plus spark plugs. All the parts were in stock, and John Higgins was able to get them installed and get me on my way within two hours. Now you know why I say I had the good fortune to break down, because I was totally blown away at the high level of customer service I was afforded here at Boston Volvo Village. It would have been very easy for Adam to say, you don't have an appointment, or you are not a customer, especially since the shop was full of cars and it was very late in the afternoon. He said "bring it in, we will do our best"; what an understatement! While there, I was able to check out the two customer lounges, one is a quiet room. I had a cup of coffee and checked out the accessories department, while browsing, I was asked if I wanted a tour of the parts department, which was very impressive. Every single person treated me great and appreciated my business. Thanks Adam, John, for excellent service and a great customer experience! More

When I visited the dealership to consider a purchase I was introduced to Phil Jenkins. He was great, answered any questions I had and offered a test drive despite the place closing in a few moments. At no time did I feel pressured. Phil and I talked a bit and set a time for me to come back later to xxxxx the value of my trade. The price was fair the trade value was fair, little to no back and forth and the deal was struck. Phil was very patient with my requirement to get the wife over to take a look and give the final nod. I was then passed off to Marissa Sestito and again zero pressure. She was very knowledgable about my options and I honestly felt she had my interest at hand and not just the dealership's. Financing was seamless and delivery just as effortless. One call to my insurance company and The Village did everything. I received top notch service despite purchasing a used car. Truly a positive experience. More

Since the shutdown of Saab, they've moved parts & service to Boston Volvo Village, so I decided to stop by and browse. David DelTorto had sold both Saabs to me and I felt comfortable talking to him about replacing my 9-5. He showed me a beautiful Volvo S80 T6 AWD and immediately went to work on getting a price that would work for me. Between David and Armen, they offered me great prices for my trade and the S80. As it was past closing time, David set up an appointment for the next day with Marissa S, the business manager, to get financing and take care of the paperwork. Marissa got me an even better rate than I could get from my own credit union and led me painlessly through the sea of paperwork I had to sign. On delivery day, David took the time to go over all the features in my new S80. He helped me set up the Bluetooth connection to my phone and sync the contacts, we went over the nav and how to use the voice commands. Saved me from having to wade through most of the 200+ pages of the owners manual! I would definitely recommend Boston Volvo Village! Hopefully, David DelTorto, Armen Essayen, & Marissa Sestito will be there the next time I'm looking for a new car. More

He gave me confidence in the sales department, who were professional and respectful of my desires. All - in - all this was the easiest vehicle purchase I have ever made. I appreciated how fast my salesperson, Marc Fasten was in honing in on my vehicle preferences. I particularly appreciated Mr. Essayen, the sales manager's no-nonsense approach to deal-making, and the finance manager, Mr. Murphy was very easy to work with and responsive to my desires. -- Can't say one bad word about Boston Volvo. They've got my business for life. More

Their service was superb, their knowledge was great, they were treating you like an old friend, they want it to make sure that I was happy till at the end. I was interested in a Volvo XC70 because it seemed to be one of the two or three cars that best fit my needs. I was prepared to go to several dealerships but when I first went to Boston Volvo Village I quickly determined I wasn't going to get better service or a better deal anywhere else. Working with Marc Fasten was a real pleasure. He was personable, not pushy, knowledgeable and worked with me closely and patiently to take care of all the little details, as well as the big ones, that inevitably come up with a purchase of a car. I had limited time to spend when I was doing the buying but Marc made everything easy. The best praise I can give is that there is a good friend and colleague of mine who is thinking about selling his Saab wagon (one of which I used to drive). I have already recommended to him Boston Volvo Village and Marc Fasten on the strength of my experience. I know if he acts on my recommendation he will be as satisfied as I am. More
