We went there looking for a used car for my daughter. We was greeted in the lot by our salesman he offered show us the car fax on the vehicle we were looking at and offered to take a test drive. On the front end, I would say 1 star. Scheduled appointment out 3-4 weeks to ensure availability of loaner vehicle only to have appointment cancelled about 2 hours prior because of lack availabilit appointment out 3-4 weeks to ensure availability of loaner vehicle only to have appointment cancelled about 2 hours prior because of lack availability of parts. Afternoon of work taken off gone and need to take a another afternoon off--not exactly 3 or even 5 star s customer service. Finally in, the service results in on-going issues that require multiple return visits (thankfully shorter in duration), but highly disruptive nonetheless. However, at the least the concern and level of service increased. But should it require that many daily visits to finally feel like you are being treated fairly? More

Took 2003 Honda Element in to Bob Rohrman Honda for tail pipe/exhaust system repair. Tail pipe and muffler replaced due to rust. New tail pipe and muffler not painted with heat resistant paint to prevent pipe/exhaust system repair. Tail pipe and muffler replaced due to rust. New tail pipe and muffler not painted with heat resistant paint to prevent future rust. No service lights on in dash when brought vehicle in. After tail pipe and muffler replaced was told Service light was on. Tech. ran diagnostic and found O2 sensor bad. Needed to have O2 sensor replaced which did not have a problem when I brought vehicle in for service. Upon calling on 3-21-2021 spoke to someone in Service Dept. who was not the Service Advisor I was dealing with.. Asked person who answered the phone what the Total was for repairs and service. Person did not know and put me on hold. Person came back and told me the total. I asked about the cost for O2 sensor and person put me on hold as Jenny the Service Advisor with whom I was dealing with was busy. After being on hold for a couple of minutes, someone picked up the phone, didn’t say anything, and hung up the phone. Spent almost $3K at Rohrman’s for parts and repairs, which one of the parts (O2 sensor) wasn’t broken when I brought the vehicle in. Vehicle was not even run through the car wash as a courtesy. Spent more on parts and labor than Kelly Blue Book said car was worth and couldn’t even get questions answered in the end. Will NOT be buying a new car from Bob Rohrman Honda in the future and if I buy a Honda, I won’t be taking it to Bob Rohrman’s in Lafayette, Indiana for service. More
