By far, this has been the best experience I have ever had with buying a new car. I needed to trade in my '03 Altima and was shopping Route 303 with my friend. I will not go into how incredibly bad they were here since I want this to be about how wonderful Howard was with us. He listened to me as I told what my needs were and exceeded my expectations. I was originally looking for a used vehicle with under 20-25,000 miles because I just didn't believe that I could get a new Subaru. When we went for a test drive, he encouraged us fully test the handling of the car and allowed us to test on the Parkway where other dealers only allowed us to test drive on 303 and local roads. He was never pushy, and happily explained everything thoroughly. Howard is so personable--I feel like I was being taken care of by a trusted friend. Since the experience, I have been telling everyone (friends, family, acquaintances, strangers) about my car buying experience with Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. I've always wanted a Subaru. Howard and Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru made it happen and I love my car. THANKS GUYS!!! More

A few months ago my son Joe purchased an Impreza and because of the extremely positive experience we had, I came back to lease a legacy just recently. I want to make sure you know that our time spent with Gary Mendelsohn was above and beyond anything I have experienced in all my years of dealing with car salesmen. Gary was absolutely fantastic. I can't find enough adjectives to describe his service. He was personable, patient, extremely knowledgable, courteous, funny and I could go on and on. He made us feel like we were the only customers in the place! As a matter of fact, everyone that we came in contact with when we passed through your doors, was wonderful. I intend to recommend Bill Kolb Subaru to everyone I know and tell them to ask for Gary! Gary is an excellent representative for your company and most definitely an asset to your organization. My wife and I went to Bill Kolb Subaru on June 23 to purchase a new vehicle. We could not have asked for a more positive experience. Jerry Taylor was our sales consultant. He made us feel as if we were his number one customer. Jerry took the time to show us the Impreza, Legacy and the Forester. There was never any pressure and Jerry answered all of our questions of which we had many. He made sure that we drove all three models to ensure that we could make the right decision as to what model was perfect for us. We decided on the 2012 Forester and we picked it up today. Jerry went over the entire car pointing out its features and how everything operated. We would have no hesitation recommending Jerry and Bill Kolb to our friends and family. My wife and my son were looking to buy him his first car. They had seen and test driven a first car. They had a 6pm appointment with the same dealer to see a second car and compare the two. They arrived at the agreed upon time and found the dealer going over paperwork with another customer. They had to wait 90 minutes for the prior customer's paperwork to be completed! And while they were waiting, they see another customer take a test drive and buy the first car they looked at! When the dealer finally freed up, he went to show them the second car. However, after walking all thru the lot, he could not find it! Turns out, even though my wife and son had made an appointment to see a particular car, that car was unavailable because someone had taken that car to be serviced. Two hours wasted at the dealership with nothing to show for it. More
I would not buy a Subaru anywhere else. Rick has sold our family 5 cars and we never have to worry about a thing. He is honest and takes care of all of our needs. This was proven when my daughter bought our family 5 cars and we never have to worry about a thing. He is honest and takes care of all of our needs. Went and purchased a used 2011 impreza on saturday 4/28/12, my salesman, Jerry Taylor couldnt have been a nicer straight shooting salesman. Price was right on, financing went well. The whole thing too 4/28/12, my salesman, Jerry Taylor couldnt have been a nicer straight shooting salesman. Price was right on, financing went well. The whole thing took about three hours, shopping, test drive, negotiations/financing and signing the paperwork. My wife picked the car up on monday after work. Only problems/issues, 1, The car had only one key so we had to go back and get the additional key/programing, took an hour problem solved. 2. Bumper had a gouge in it, they fixed it, problem solved. 3. The car was not detailed properly, it left alot to be disired, I went home, wiped the interior down with an armoral wipe, vacumed it, some mothers wax on the outside a little tire shine and the car looked new! Totally expected the dealer to do this but I did it problem solved! 4. No tire valve caps, but they did manage to get the Bill Kolb emblem and license plate advertisments on the car, three advertisments on my car but no detail or valve caps, I consider valve stem caps a safety requirement as they prevent dirt and road grime from clogging the valve, preventing pressure adjustments, ironic. I now have this thing with Bill Kolb glued to my car! Bought 4 caps $1.35 problem solved. Got to get a heat gun and get that emblem off then that problem will be solved. 5.The above leaves me to believe that the car was not totally inspected and some details were left unattended, I just hope nothing major was not overlooked. Time will tell. I think my car was overlooked by the prep department, the imprezas look alike and maybe they had two or three in at the same time same color. Maybe they were busy and being "pushed". I just dont see how the detail, valve caps and washer fluid were over looked if the car was pre-certified as indicated and paid for. I could have bought the same car privately for less money and gotten the same assurance that my car was in good order. I didnt mind paying more for the piece of mind a pre-cert car has. This i did not get. The prep department needs to make a check list, and whoever does the work/look over on a certain car needs to sign off on the check list, if issues like im having arise then it can be tracked back to an individual. The customer should get a copy of that check list for piece of mind. Im happy that my issues are small but the truth is in the details in life and the details of Bill Kolbs used cars arent too good in my humble opinion. Im not looking for any compensation what so ever, i just feel you should know as you seem receptive and caring about peoples opinion of Bill Kolb as you should. I purchased a used 2009 Forester. They had me test drive one with the front passenger side arm rest missing. They did replace it. I asked them for new tires and they told me that they were in good shape. one with the front passenger side arm rest missing. They did replace it. I called the dealership and they told me that they couldn't do anything about it. I spent over $600.00 replacing the tires. More
The people at Bill Kolb Subaru were very infomative with any question I had. If there were any sort of issue during the buying process my sales man was especially helpful in making sure the issue was resolv any question I had.
