Ok here we go. Salesman shows me the "VIP" service and says it is free. I get to the price sheet and there was a $400.00 line item charge that was not labeled. I ask him what that fee is for and he explains it is for the VIP service. When I asked the salesman ,"what happened to the free service" he just looked at me. Also, He showed me a price sheet of transparency showing dealer price then a "fair" markup. Meanwhile this price was an MSRP price that is not real anyway. Bottom line, he came in at about $1500.00 more than Ramsey Subaru, the dealer you should deal with and that I fully recommend.I had an old Outback and brought it to Bill Kolb a few years ago for service. Upon pick up , the alarm system did not work. I look underneath and see that they simply cut the wires as I guess they were too lazy too call me and ask where the cut off switch was.. These guys are crooks. Do not go there . You will be sorry More
To date. I am in the midst of a terrible experience that I am attempting to resolve. Purchased 2008 5 speed manual transmission Legacy with 20K on 08/25/09, brought back following day 08/26/09 r/t grinding I am attempting to resolve. Purchased 2008 5 speed manual transmission Legacy with 20K on 08/25/09, brought back following day 08/26/09 r/t grinding and prominent vibrations ? r/t shifter. Service Adviser Mike Kerrigan informed me that it was r/t shifter bushings and I was told to return on 08/28 for repair, but also that technician checked it out and it was slightly improved. While driving car home, it was in no way improved. This type of issue made me uncomfortable since the car had only 20K and so I returned on 08/27 and attempted to implement the Bill Kolb Jr. (30) day satisfaction guarantee. I test drove (2) vehicles and after opting for the one of my choice, I learned that I would essentially have to pay what amounted to a $4,000 'restocking fee' since I was not entitled to purchase the replacement vehicle at the on lot listed price of $17.886, but the Kelly Blue Book price of $21,800. Nothing like 'good customer service.' In essence, a stranger walking onto their lot today would have the option to purchase the exact same vehicle for less money than a customer who attempted to do business with this outfit in good faith. I understand fully the fickle nature that some customers may exhibit when buying a pre-owned vehicle, however, I am attempting to make certain that I will be driving a car that can stay on the road. I am returning tomorrow to speak with Sales Mgr. Chris Ford in an attempt to appeal my case. Apparently, there was not a single individual accessible to make any such decision today. In the interim, I will have spent a significant part of (4) work days this week attempting to resolve this mess. In addition, I have contacted Megan of customer service at Subaru America at 800-782-2783 who has opened a case number on my complaint and has sounded quite helpful over the phone. Overall, this entire experience has left a sour taste in my mouth and left me to wonder about the integrity of this organization. More

I came to find out from talking to a lawyer that it was blatant lie. I only had a week to drive with my old reg and plates, MA doesn't do temps (it takes an 30min to transfer or even get new tags and reg). They PROMISED it would be done in time. I call all week to find out what is going on....NO ONE calls back to tell me the status. Funny how they were all over me before I bought the car. Now I have a new car that I can't legally drive on the road... how am I supposed to get to work? I've called, left messages and emails EVERYDAY with everyone up to the president! Not ONE call back. I have no transportation and no idea as to what is going on with my title. My lawyer seems to think they don't have the title, which is why they are ignoring me. I called the registry and they do not have any paperwork from dealership. I've been lied to so they could get more money out of me and now I'm being avoided. They are scam artists and after reading reviews about them, which I should have checked first, I see that I'm not the only one. I'm convinced that any of these 'good' review are from people who work at the dealership. More
I would never recommend this dealer to anyone; friend or foe! I went to Bill Kolb Subaru Jr. to purchase a used 2003 G35 Infiniti coupe. While ready to sign the paper work and cough up my entire savings Stu foe! I went to Bill Kolb Subaru Jr. to purchase a used 2003 G35 Infiniti coupe. While ready to sign the paper work and cough up my entire savings Stuart Lesser all but ignored me while he stuffed envelopes; HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! I must admit that price was good; however less than a month after purchasing the car the automatic transmission light came on. I contacted Mike Poznanski who instead of telling me to bring it in assured me that it was nothing and said that he would contact me; I'm still waiting for his phone call. Since then Infiniti was kind enough to not only replace the tranmission but also its computer and the wiring. Fortunately the car was still warrantied under the manufacturers warranty; however had this been 6 months later I would have been out of close to $5000.00. After several failed attempts to contact Bill Kolb Subaru Jr I decided to sell the car. In summary I gave Bill Kolb Subara Jr. $18,500 of my hard earned savings and they gave me 4 months of headaches only resulting in a loss of $5000 when I was left with no other alternative but to trade-in the car elsewhere! Please do not do business with this dealership short term savings often result in long term expenses! More
That was good experience and very good customer and financing services. Everyone is working there, no bums. I was born in Europe and this dealership reminds me those in my country. Hopefully my Trib financing services. Everyone is working there, no bums. I was born in Europe and this dealership reminds me those in my country. Hopefully my Tribeca Limited will give me same fun as my Outback. "I'll be back" More
I was looking for a used Subaru and I came across Bill Kolb Jr subaru. I was a little confused because they used to be belonged to Bill Kolb Jr Ford. I understand they are seperate now. My dealings with t Kolb Jr subaru. I was a little confused because they used to be belonged to Bill Kolb Jr Ford. I understand they are seperate now. My dealings with the Subaru store were excelent. They listened to and provided with a used Subaru that worked out perfect for me and the family (and Kelly, our dog). And best of all the price was the lowest around. They must have some connect to get these low mileage cars at great prices. oh, and the sales staff were great too, especially Sam and Dominic Santagato (their Internet sales staff) Their site is http://www.bkcars.com - enjoy !! Lied about car not being a rental. I asked if the car was used as a rental car, he said no it's a program car and went on to explain that it was used by a Ford executive, not a rental. Well, he lied, it was used as a rental car, he said no it's a program car and went on to explain that it was used by a Ford executive, not a rental. Well, he lied, it was a rental after all, verified 2 weeks after I bought it. Stay away from this place, one lies, the other swears to it. More
