John: This is Maryann Kolb, President of Bill Kolb Jr. Subaru. I have spoken to Gary about this matter. He indicated that you and your girlfriend only wanted Silver and that we were able to locate on at a dealer in CT for you. We sent our driver up to CT to pick up the vehicle to bring it back to our dealership (Dealers in NJ charge $350 for this same service. We do not charge our customers a "Pick Up and Delivery Fee" even though we pay our driver to do so). The vehicle was only driver by my driver. The vehicle may have had test miles on it from the original dealer prior to us picking it up which would account for the additional miles. I am very sorry we could not deliver this vehicle to you. I have no problem in refunding your $500.00 deposit. A check was mailed to you on March 31, 2016 for $500.00. Kindly confirm receipt of the deposit refund. We would never hold you deposit if you choose not to purchase a vehicle from us for any reason. I sincerely hope we can earn your business next time.
