I had mentioned to a friend that I was in the market for a new car - she recommended that I see Bill. I visited this site and read several reviews on Bill Jacobs 9 out of 10 mentioned Bill Earnest and how great he was to work with. So I called Bill and set up an appointment to look at 07 328i - when I arrived Bill explained to me that for just a little more money I could get a lot more for my money and a warranty . It made since to look at a pre-owned certified car. So that was the direction we took. Two hours later I had decided on a beautiful black on black 2009 328i with 43,000 miles. We nailed down the price and options and I made another appt to pick up the car because I had to go to work. When I arrived to pick up the car at 4:00 on Sat financing discovered an issue that would require me to put more money down due to my credit. We had already switched the plates signed over my old car- needless to say I was irritated. Bill was great as well as financing - Bill spoke to his manager and the had to put dealer plates and they sent me on my way for the weekend while we worked out the details and so I could get the extra money I needed. I have to say I am so thankful for the original mistake in financing because I ended up with a 3.9% rate and a year less of payments. Bill probably spent 8 hrs working with me on this car that probably didn't gain a huge commission on - but he did gain a customer for life. I had recently spent two months dealing with some serious health issues and also turned 40. This car makes me feel like a million bucks and that is how Bill Earnest and the entire team at Bill Jacobs BMW treated me. So if your looking to purchase a BMW go see Bill Earnest he truly is like all the reviews you read about him More

I stopped into Bill Jacobs after doing some online research on the BMW X5. Bill Earnest greeted me and we discussed what I was looking for. At that time they didn't have the specific vehicle I wante research on the BMW X5. Bill Earnest greeted me and we discussed what I was looking for. At that time they didn't have the specific vehicle I wanted but Bill said he would keep his eye out for me. He immediately began looking for cars and tracked down a couple that may have interested me. Ultimately he found one that was nicer than I had considered and was able to put together a great deal on the vehicle and my trade in. The vehicle I purchased had just been received by the dealership and hadn't been prepped yet. Bill followed the process closely for me and delivered the vehicle before he had promised. More
Let me clarify one thing up front. My experience with Tom Macpherson (sales) was excellent. I had stopped in about a month ago to browse, and even though I let him know I was not there that day as a buy Tom Macpherson (sales) was excellent. I had stopped in about a month ago to browse, and even though I let him know I was not there that day as a buyer and was just looking around, he spent about 30 minutes showing me everything I needed to see. I left contact info as I was about 6 weeks away from purchase time. Tom contacted me about every other week, including letting me know about a special I could sign up for. His communication was no pressure and he is a pleasure to work with. Last week I browsed the website and decided on a car (2012 535 Xdrive M-sport). I called Tom and he agreed to meet me the next day which was his day off. We had a lengthy test drive and started the negotiating. This is where things soured. Brian (Manager-last name not known) had the classic "tell me what you want your payment to be" attitude, and I felt he would have sold over MSRP if he could have. He even lied to me about the invoice pricing of the car, which thanks to the new little tool called the INTERNET I already knew. It took almost an hour and a half of ping-ponging the salesman back and forth to get to the price I knew I was going to pay in the first place, which by the way was $2K below Brian's "invoice" price. It took four requests just for him to give me the numbers he was using to come up with the price. Jeffrey Kruger stopped by on his way out to give the standard meet and greet. Enter my wife and kids for the signing process. We filled out the credit paperwork and waited about 30 mins for finance to do their thing. Tom came to get me for the title to my trade and as we walked to the car to get it, another salesman was trying to have the porters move what I thought was my new car to the back of the lot. After spending four hours on the lot, I find out someone had already deposited money on this car and it was not for sale. Now started the 35 minute wait while everyone frantically called people to decide what the heck to do. Ultimately, Tom gave me the news that the other buyer got the car, gave my trade in keys back, and told me he would try and locate a comparable car at another dealer for a trade. Did I get a "we're sorry" form Brian? Not a word. Mr. Kruger? Nothing. Phone call the next day? Nope. I would have hoped after a five hour investment of my time I would have gotten at least a few words of apologies from the management team. After thinking it over the next day, I sent Tom a text thanking him for his time but telling him to call off the search. I expressed my displeasure for Bill Jacobs BMW, and was taking the business elsewhere. He replied back thanking me for my time, standing up for Mr. Jacobs as a class act, and took full responsibility for the problem. Tom is a great guy to work with if you choose to go here. I picked up my new car at a competitor the next day and couldn't be happier. More
I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Bill Jacobs BMW. I was looking for a pre-owned SUV,and was lucky enough to be introduced to Bill Earnest. I shared with Bill what I was looking at Bill Jacobs BMW. I was looking for a pre-owned SUV,and was lucky enough to be introduced to Bill Earnest. I shared with Bill what I was looking for, and I also shared other vehicles I was considering from other dealers. Based on my needs and pricing, there was not a match within their inventory. Bill followed up with me the next day and I told him I was going to buy a 2008 X5 from one of his competitors. Bill told me if I provided the last 8 of the VIN # he would give me the service history of the vehicle. I gave him the numbers and we walked through the history, he shared with me the vehicle was certified and still under warranty until 2014! My sales person from the other dealership was shocked when I shared this with him as he did not know!? At that point I told Bill I wished he had a car so I could buy it from him. He knew the deal I was getting was excellent and told me he understood. I had also shared with Bill that Bill Jacobs was closer to my residence than the dealer I was buying my car from, he told me to stop in anytime for a free wash and a coffee! I will have my vehicle serviced at Bill Jacobs as long as Bill is there!! Bill has earned my future business with out a doubt. It is rare that someone treats you this well without a purchase. Bill is building a relationship for the future and I consider him one of the best sales people I have ever encountered, and I am a VP of Sales. More

The initial experience of visit To Whom It May Concern, I recently purchased a certified pre-owned BMW 5 series from Bill Jacobs BMW of Naperville. The initial experience of visiting the dealership aided in making the desicion of not only purchasing a later model vehicle but switching maufacturers from Mercedes to BMW. The client advisor Bill Earnest, was extremely knowledgble about the product and informed me of several features on the automobile I wasn't aware of. In addtion Bill took the time to sit with me on the day of purchase to configure the car to my personal liking. I would reccomend Bill Jacobs BMW, particularly Bill Earnest without hesitation to anyone interested in a luxury auto. The staff in general at Bill Jacobs was friendly and helpful and made the purchasing experience easy and something I will remember when its time to get a new vehicle. More
I spent 30+ hours researching cars, decided on a 328 BMW and found one I liked here. Although I was still in research stage, I contacted this dealership, worked with a salesperson named Angel and focused on and found one I liked here. Although I was still in research stage, I contacted this dealership, worked with a salesperson named Angel and focused on one car in particular. I told the sales rep I wasn't quite ready to buy (I was to be on a week-long business trip and didn't want to make such an important purchase so quickly) but was very interested in a particular car. I suppose that language translated to this guy as "he's going to buy right now" because he called for three days straight. I ended up making an offer with full anticipation of negotiating only to be told how their pricing was so accurate and he could knock $200 off the price ($200 on a $30,000 car. awesome). I said no, and two days later, he texts me, yes, texts, to see if I'm still interested even though he knew I was in business meetings. When I expressed my discontent, he chastised me and told me the dealership was no longer interested in my business. I'm not sure where this guy worked before, but the last time I checked, a BMW is a premium, big-ticket purchase, and buyers are likely accustomed to a higher level of service and conscientiousness. Not only did I not receive such treatment, I was literally chastised as if he were a water salesman in the desert and how dare I question his pricing. If you're in the market for a BMW in the Chicagoland area, take your business to Perillo, for at least they know how to treat a BMW customer properly. More
Came to Bill Jacobs to trade in my old BMW (KBB value of $15.5-16.5K) and wanted to buy a new car or CPO. The offer from BJ was just about 11.5K which was a true insult and got the whole bunch of ludicrous $15.5-16.5K) and wanted to buy a new car or CPO. The offer from BJ was just about 11.5K which was a true insult and got the whole bunch of ludicrous excuses why the price for my car can not go up. After all it turned out that they simply lied to me about each and every detail why the price of my car should be 4k below KBB value. In two weeks I got my car traded-in at another dealership for another car for the KBB value without any issues. I can not recommend Bill Jacobs BMW unless you want to come there and have some coffee and wash your car/pump tires for free. They seemed too greedy and unprofessional. More

My wife & I have never been more embarrassed by the sheer lack of customer service we received on my visit to Bill Jacobs BMW. After driving in from St. Louis and recommended by a local family member sheer lack of customer service we received on my visit to Bill Jacobs BMW. After driving in from St. Louis and recommended by a local family member that bought a new x5 from salesman Nicholas Pandola earlier this year, we were completely disregarded for a quick sale to another customer. After being at the dealership for over 2 hours while the car we were looking at was being looked at in service, suddenly we were informed that another customer was wanting to buy the same car. Nicholas informed me that we needed to decide now if we wanted to move forward with a purchase and I told him let's talk. He handed me over to Fred Schuber, who started to take our trade-in information down. After about 20 minutes Fred returns with "I've got some bad news...the car has been sold...looks like all I have is this other silver one." When I asked "how exactly does this happen when Nick told us that we were priority over the waiting customer", and Fred responds "I can't control what the sales manager does". I don't even care about the car being sold to someone else. I'm not at all disappointed that I didn't leave with that particular vehicle. What I don't understand is the complete lack of customer service I received and how the matter was handled. Our original sales rep, Nicholas Pandola, disappeared after handing us over to Fred. We received no apologizes, no suggestions, no "lets do what we can to get you out of here in a vehicle". I was definitely open to other vehicle suggestions, but after the way my wife & I were treated, I felt as though I had no other choice but to leave. My visit to Bill Jacobs BMW was a complete embarrassment. I can understand how a sales rep might disregard a customer that wasn't going to spend $60,000, lives 400 miles away, and might not be a typical returning customer. But they also lost a local family members future business and any further recommendations. More
