Worst BMW dealership in Illinois I went into the dealership for specific model BMW SUV. The salesman advised me that the car radio does not work and it may be in service being fix I went into the dealership for specific model BMW SUV. The salesman advised me that the car radio does not work and it may be in service being fixed. He checked and advised that the service manager is not fixing the radio and the price is firm as advertised. Well at that point I did not even ask anything about price and said that if I was going to pay asking price I would go to Carmax . The salesman then asked how me much I was willing to pay.? At that point I didn't even look at the car or drive the car and was not intending on talking about price. So I left the dealership and threw the business card of the ground. Horrible customer service and an unbelievable waste of my time! More

Subpar treatment from sales team Visited Bill Jacobs for the sole purpose of purchasing a preowned 2010 Mercedes Benz. After test driving and deciding to purchase the vehicle I conta Visited Bill Jacobs for the sole purpose of purchasing a preowned 2010 Mercedes Benz. After test driving and deciding to purchase the vehicle I contacted my bank and the funds were transferred to my account for the purchase the next day. The sales team attempted to stall me out in an attempt to offer me competitive financing, then tried to deny it after trying to run a credit check on me and trying to get me to signed a consent to run it; I spoke to the sales person later after leaving the dealership and he told me that they didn't trust me or my Bank (USAA). I may drive off the lot with the car and cancel the transaction after leaving. Within the hour I purchased the same 2010 Mercedes Benz with 28,000 mile less from Optimo Motors (same price). I've never experienced that kind of treatment when you walk in the door with funds ready to purchase from any other luxury dealer. I have a BMW X-5 and would not offer this review if I wasn't totally disappointed and angry with my wasted time and effort. More

She is cheerful, knowledgeable, and most importantly, she really cares about people. If you need something, she doesn't respond with the minimum needed to comply - she actually works with her resources and others to problem-solve, and then she takes the time to actually explain everything in a timely fashion. She's really a pleasure to work with. My second purchase this past week was handled by Bill Earnest. Say what you will about salespeople - or about car salespeople specifically - Bill Earnest is the countermeasure to every bad cliche you've ever heard. Bill listens, he works hard to research your needs, he doesn't rush your decision, he is available for your questions or concerns even on his days off, and he carries with him a knowledge of cars that shows his professionalism. My recent purchase involved a bit of a snag, and I seriously was told that "no dealership is going to care about you after you buy a used car from them." I called Bill and explained the situation, and he immediately went to the principals of dealership to help work out a solution. Again, you hear many tales of dishonest salespeople and dishonest organizations. My experience with Bill and all of Bill Jacobs reminds me that there are honest and decent people in this world - and that people CAN still enjoy quality customer service and care. I highly recommend Bill Jacobs BMW, and Bill Earnest specifically. I live 52 miles away, but peace of mind and reliability is worth every mile. More
