Well we had been car shopping. I located a vehicle online that we liked so we went to the dealership to look at it. We walked clear way to the back of the lot in the dark with no light to see a vehic online that we liked so we went to the dealership to look at it. We walked clear way to the back of the lot in the dark with no light to see a vehicle. We went back a few nights later to verify that they had located the vehicle that we wanted. They had located the right vehicle so we took it for a test drive. Then we sat down to do all the paperwork and they refused to use outside financing (we had pre approval from our credit union). They wanted us to take the vehicle home and the paperwork and have husband sign it and return it the next day. I explained we do not take cars home until the paperwork is completed. They took us to the finance guys office were we spent a good amount of time going over a bunch of xx paperwork here sign here, sign here, sign here and all along we had never talked financing, rates, and payments. Then we get to the figures and he said the best we have is 8% at Wells Fargo. I then told him absolutely not we have pre approval I am sorry ma'am but that is against our policy. He then brings in another finance manager and he explains all the issues they have had in the past with outside financing. After several hours at the dealership I had finally had enough and realized they was jerking me around and told them thank you very much I will go home get with my husband and call y'all at a later time. A few days goes by and they call my husbands business cell to see if he was coming to sign the paperwork. My husband explained to them that we were not purchasing a vehicle from them. We then purchased a vehicle from Ron Carter Alvin. Well that is not the end of the story. We got a phone call from the Ron Carter Hyundai to see if we were satisfied with our purchase and to set up our first service appointment. We then get several followup calls from them to see how we liked our Hyundai and each time we tell them we did not purchase from them. We are still getting mail for the extended warranty and the sirus radio. They have even sent us cookies thanking us for our purchase of a 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Needless to say I will never ever grace the doors of this business and never recommend it to anyone. Come to find out after talking to a very reliable source that if you use the dealership financing the dealer gets a sizeable kickback from the financing company. Not to mention they can't keep records for crap since they show that we purchased a car that we really did not!!! I don't usually write reviews much less negative ones but this was just such a horrible experience. Never in my life had i ever had a hard time giving money away. I mean heck we had pre approval and knew what we wanted. How much easier could i make it for the salesman? More
