We originally inquired on-line. Jim was quick with the response and kept a friendly dialog going for over a week as we researched our options. When we met with him in person, he was very attentive and an response and kept a friendly dialog going for over a week as we researched our options. When we met with him in person, he was very attentive and answered every question thoroughly. Jim is very knoweldgeable about all of the Hyunudai vehicles and was able to give us the pros and cons of each model. Considering that we totally dislike the whole car buying experience...but do love having a new vehicle, Jim made it as painless as possible. Great guy to work with...you can tell he enjoys his job! Recently bought a Hyundai Sonata from Veronica at Ron Carter. She was very nice, very professional, and it was a fun buying experience. I shopped around some at other dealerships but they all seemed t Carter. She was very nice, very professional, and it was a fun buying experience. I shopped around some at other dealerships but they all seemed to be pretty much the same. Other dealerships will low ball your trade and then try and high pressure you into something you're not quite sure about. But I didn't feel pressured at Ron Carter. I felt like they were working to get me the car that I wanted at the best price they could do. Also, my son bought a car at Texas Direct last fall and we spent all day there. It took them hours to detail the car and bring it up for us - never again! I was in and out of Ron Carter in less than a couple of hours. Also, the Sonata is a very nice car. It is more stylish than the Camry and a little less expensive. I also looked at a Ford Fusion. The Fusion was quite a bit more money and gets quite a bit worse gas mileage. But the Sonata is a beautifully styled car with tons of standard features at a great price. Sure Honda and Toyota have the big name. But don't let that hook you. If you're thinking about a Camry or an Accord, you owe it to yourself to check out a Sonata. I think you'll be glad you did. More

We scheduled an appoinmet Gary Crow to come in and test drive a couple of cars that we had selected. Gary sent a follow up email that morning and was waiting for us when we arrived. He got the vechical up for us and we did the test drive. Originally we were going to sell our car to a friend but decided to let Ron Carter give us a quote. They came back with a good price and after Gary found us additional discounts that were avaialble even though we weren't planning buying that evening. My wife drove home with a new Santa Fe Sport. Very pleased with all the help and service. More
After locating a few vehicles through cars.com and requesting a quote i promptly (literally within minutes) received a response via video text and an email from Jim Holsen at Ron Carter Hyundai. I must admit that receiving a text and email rather than a phone call put me at ease from the start. This was the complete opposite from other dealerships who bombarded me with phone calls one after another. One guy even wanted to check my credit over the phone and I hadn’t even seen the car yet! I understand the nature of the business and the importance of communicating directly with a potential customer, however we live in a digital age in which one of the most effective forms of communication is text and/or email. Maybe it’s my personal preference but in a business where sales people tend to be pushy, Jim Holsen was not, right from the start. After arriving at the dealership my wife and I were greeted by an employee who immediately paged Jim. Mr. Holsen came to meet us but being that we arrived early and he was in the middle of delivering a car to another customer, he handed us over to his associate Clarence Farmer. We didn’t have to wait for a salesman to assist us! Clarence was very supportive in helping us chose the perfect car. He was not pushy; he listened to our requests and only offered his opinion when it was appropriate. He never tried to steer us towards a car that was out of our price range and when we had questions about a car, his knowledge allowed him to answer them fully. He was patient and was willing to walk the lot a couple of times just so we can be sure that we were purchasing the car we wanted. He helped me get such a great deal on my Sonata that I would drive the 45 miles to Friendswood to purchase my next vehicle. For these reasons I have rated my experience at Ron Carter Hyundai…GREAT! More
