Kilan was very nice and helpful. We came in because of a flyer we received in the mail regarding our trade-in. Salesman worked to accommodate what we were looking for. flyer we received in the mail regarding our trade-in. Salesman worked to accommodate what we were looking for. More
My family went to the dealership last saturday to enquire on the Santa Fe that we had wanted. When we got there a car salesman greeted us, forgot his name, and we told him what we wanted, but he kept trying on the Santa Fe that we had wanted. When we got there a car salesman greeted us, forgot his name, and we told him what we wanted, but he kept trying to convince us that another trim was better. We asked if this particular car was on their lot and he said he was going to go check, took him a long time then he comes back and he says no. We give him the vin number and he goes back and check and comes back after a long time and again no. So we decide to leave and we stayed in our car a bit to plan out the rest of the day, we already waisted 2 hours there (more like 3 plus the 1 hour drive time to get there). As soon as we are about to leave the manager comes and says hey don't leave yet we might have your car. Okay yea let's continue talking inside. We talk about car and he says that it's been sold, but there is one coming in in 2 weeks. Okay that's fine, we try to enquire on the price and rebates they have available, and the same car salesmen we had came and said come to my desk and I'll see what I can do. Okay sure, can you please give us the price. Nope nothing, kept making us sign this and sign that and then asked us what kind of car we wanted.... okay we've spent a long time and explained what car we wanted and he goes and asks us what kind of car we wanted. That's fine we explain again, so he takes out printing paper and an expo marker and starts listing what kind of car we wanted (looked very unprofessional by the way). So we finally ask about the car that was coming in and asked how much that was going to be, no answer. Apparently that car wasn't coming in anymore. So, we basically wasted a lot of time just sitting with this guy. Wouldn't even give us a price. Kept waisting our time, got tired and told the salesman that he had our number just to contact us when a car similar to the car we wanted would come in. Left disappointed. We were about to buy the car, but the salesman wouldn't give a price. It felt like he was just playing us. It would've been fine if he told us in the beginning that the car was not coming, so we could've left, but instead he chose to waste our time. I am so turned off that I decided to look at other cars although I have been wanting the new Santa Fe since it was unveiled. Subaru Forester it is. Thank you Ron Carter for wasting my family's time. Israel was a great dealer to work with. I had a feeling from the start that he was going to be a down to Earth guy! My mother and I spent several hours with him and he never seems like he just want to get from the start that he was going to be a down to Earth guy! This was the 5th dealership we had visited, it was late and we just wanted to see if they had ANYTHING that might be better than the car we had already picked out at another dealership. My husband is a de and we just wanted to see if they had ANYTHING that might be better than the car we had already picked out at another dealership. My husband is a detailed shopper and he was not looking for just ANY CAR. He had spoke to Christian earlier in the day and felt like he needed to give Christian a shot to sell him... well Christian was already gone for the day, so Daniel jumped in and worked wonders for us. He showed us a few of the standards on the lot... and when they did not impress, he let us look around, find something that would work for us. We found a Santa Fe that I personally really liked from the minute I saw it, but my husband was going to be a tough sell, not only did the car have to be right, but the price and most importantly the payment had to be right. I know it was not easy, but Daniel not only manage to sell my husband on the Santa Fe, but he managed to get us exactly what we wanted and exactly how we wanted it. He was friendly, honest, and really made us feel like what we wanted really mattered. Buying a car is a long process, it can be stressful and it can be boring and overwhelming and yet we did not feel any of this while working with the staff at Ron Carter. We really enjoyed the experience and we be life long customers of Ron Carter. Both Daniel and Christian went above and beyond what you would expect from a car salesmen and it made a big impact on our experience. More
