Scott Sanders was most helpful with my trading in my 2010 Hyundai Elantra for a new 2013 Hyundai Elantra. He covered all the bases and applied multiple discounts to the deal saving me some money. He had a great attitude and was a pleasure chatting with him. Bryan Bittick was very helpful with providing some online link information and was a pleasure chatting with him. Frank Luna who sold me my first Hyandai Elantra in 2010 was present and was a pleasure speaking with him. He was instrumental in getting the paperwork together for the Finance dept. and did a great job. John Hewitt in Finance was very thorough in going over all the paperwork and was a pleasure chatting with him. Overall I was very pleased with my experience on 10/20/2013 with acquiring my new vehicle. I even had a great meal out on the patio of some brisket, beans and potato salad. More

I had a good experience at Ron Carter because Treon and Richard worked patiently with me on Friday night and a great portion of the day on Saturday. On Saturday, Ron Carter had face painting for the kids and barbecue for the adults. On top of that, I received a reasonable price on a Hyundai Sante Fe Sport 2.0. I would definitely refer and recommend this dealership to someone looking to purchase a Hyundai. More
I walked into Ron Carter Hyundai and expected the typical pressure experience when it came to a sales person, as I hadn't purchased a new car in years. However, Gary provided a very thorough and even handed pressure experience when it came to a sales person, as I hadn't purchased a new car in years. However, Gary provided a very thorough and even handed tone to the overall experience, guiding me to through the whole process in a very pleasing manner and making suggestions when appropriate. He worked hard to get the price on my lease down to a number that was comfortable to me and I will remember that and recommend to friends as it comes up. More

I was in the market for a new small crossover. I went to the Ron Carter website and saw a couple of cars I was interested in test driving. Within thirty minutes,Gary Crow responded to my online inquiry. He scheduled me in to test drive the cars that same day. My fiance and I got there at our scheduled time, but Gary was busy with another customer, so he had Matt Mitchell help us. Matt is a great salesman, he is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Although, it took awhile for us to agree on the price, I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Before we left the deaership, Gary came outside to set up my Iphone and bluetooth in my new Hyundai Tuscon. Thanks guys for all your help and especially for being so patient with me. Cathy T. More
I had a TERRIBLE experience with Ron Carter Cadillac Hyundai today. BEWARE THE INTERNET-POSTED ePrice on their vehicles. It sounded too good to be true, and it was. I did my best to practice due dilig Hyundai today. BEWARE THE INTERNET-POSTED ePrice on their vehicles. It sounded too good to be true, and it was. I did my best to practice due diligence, but uncovering the truth is difficult when a company who is not above bold-faced lies. Go easy on me, please; the last and only car I ever bought was at Gunn Nissan and their "one simple price" is just that. Was I naive? Yes, definitely. Do they have bad business practices? Yes, definitely. It went something like this: I visited a dealership in town over the weekend and did a test drive, got an offer, but was not ready to purchase because I hadn't shopped around. I went home and did internet research and low and behold there was a dealership in Houston that had a remarkable "ePrice" listed on their website. It seemed remarkable compared to everything else I'd seen. I inquired about this "ePrice" on 3 separate occasions to the salesman, Daniel Schatte, who told me this was the (and here's where hindsight sees a hole, but foresight did not) "best available price on this particular car". I decided to call him and try and get the real deal. He assured me, "Nope, that's it. That's the best available price for that vehicle." I tried to continue my line of questioning but didn't know what else to ask other than, "So, that's it? That's the price? So if I come down there tomorrow I can get that price for the vehicle? And the vehicle is still available?" He assured me that was the case. I informed him I'd take a day off work and drive 3 hours to see him the next day. I contacted the salesperson at my local dealership if they could match the price or do anything relatively close to it. The local salesperson warned me to check with the dealership because they've seen them listing the ePrice and but it turns out it's only applicable to Hyundai Motorcars Employees or something. Admittedly bashful about asking a third time, but not wanting to waste a day off and drive out of my way if I wasn't going to get the deal, I emailed Daniel one more time and told him I had heard the ePrice had some qualifications to it, specifically that I had to be a Hyundai Motorcars Employee to qualify. "No, it is our best available price and you don't have to be an employee to qualify." So, my husband and I took the day off work and drove to Houston to get the car and it was a bait and switch, pure and simple. I reread to the salesman our email conversation and he was emphatic about how all he had said was "best available price" and it IS the best available price...IF YOU QUALIFY FOR THE SHEET'S WORTH OF REBATES THAT I DO NOT QUALIFY FOR. In order to get the ePrice I would need to be 1) a current Hyundai owner, 2) with a disability, 3) that had graduated from a University or nursing education program no less than 6 months ago, but no more than 2 years ago and, 4) was currently in the military and, 5) was a member of some organization that I've never heard of and can't remember the acronym for. What REALLY got me about all of this was the way the salesman delivered his "yeah, duh, STUPID, that's-the-way-it-is-and-always-has-been" act every time I seemed incredulous about the next set of bad news he was giving me. We did the typical back and forth where he went to go "talk to his manager" four separate times, the numbers all jumbled around differently every time and the price slightly less than the time before. I wasn't playing hard ball, I was playing I-can't-believe-it-this-crap-is-outrageous ball (which differs from hard ball in that it lacks calculation and strategy) and I eventually had him offering me the car at the ePrice. However, suddenly there was an Options line item that had a $2,000 and something amount. These dealer-added options are strange in that they're "options" but not optional. Things like window tint and the amazing pinstripe that doesn't exist anywhere on the car. Not to mention the financing numbers weren't straight forward, no percentage rate was ever presented, just different iterations of monthly payments and more slickery than I've ever been personally exposed to. So, I called the General Sales Manager Anthony Hewitt to inform him about the shoddy business practices of one of his salesmen only to find that he had perfected the detached and condescending shtick. All I can do for 2 people's lost vacation days, my $45 worth of gas, the wear on my car, the boring car ride, and most importantly the blatant disrespect, is post my story for others to see and hopefully benefit from. I hope this review finds you BEFORE you waste your time. More
