I have visited this dealership many times, and each time I have been treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. No matter what service I am there for, everyone is always so willing to help. I rec I have been treated with the utmost professionalism and respect. No matter what service I am there for, everyone is always so willing to help. I recently traded in my 2009 Nissan Altima Coupe for a 2011 Nissan Altima Sedan, and from the initial purchase with Aaron Swan and Delvin Washington to my first oil change with Brian Doctor, I could not ask for anything more. The salesmen worked hard at getting me the best possible deal and even went as far as to schedule my first oil change. Showing up for my first oil change on 8/20/2011, I was greeted by Brian Doctor who told me it would take approximately 45 minutes. I believe I was out in 1/2 hour. Hence, my overall score of "Great." I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More

We purchased through a car buying program, but were also shopping around in the Richmond area. Alex, the internet manager, worked hard for my business, beating all the offers I received in Richmond, then m shopping around in the Richmond area. Alex, the internet manager, worked hard for my business, beating all the offers I received in Richmond, then making it worth my while to come to Chesapeake to pick up the car. He was polite and professional the entire time. Once we arrived, Aaron took over the process, allowing us to do a test drive and completing our paperwork. Financing was straightfoward (thanks Delvin!) and Tonya wrapped it all up with the customer service presentation. Everyone was professional and gracious. I indicated I wasn't interested in warranties, financing, trade-ins etc., and no one pressured me to reconsider, or indicated I was making poor choices. I know I got a deal, and no one uttered nonsense like, "We're not making money on this deal" or "It's Christmas in July - we're practically giving this car away!" - both comments made by dealers to me in other buying circumstances. I will recommend the folks at Chesapeake to everyone I know. Thank you for a painless car-buying experience! More

I recently visited Nissan of Chesapeake after a long day of car shopping and being treated like a nobody at several other dealers. I was greeted with a smile by Big Al and explained my credit situation to h of car shopping and being treated like a nobody at several other dealers. I was greeted with a smile by Big Al and explained my credit situation to him and the previous experiences I had at some of the other places. He did something that had been done all day "HE LISTENED". After talking to me for a while he explained to me in a nice way that I couldn't have exactly what I wanted but could show me how to position myself so that I could have it later. Granted I didn't leave in the car I wanted, I still ended up leaving in a brand new car that will meet my needs for the time being and help me regain the level of credit needed to come back later and purchase the car of my dreams. Thank you Big Al for treating me like a human being and not just another person with bad credit. You have earned my business for life and I will send everyone I know to you that is ever in the market for a new Nissan. More
Overall a good experience, better than some other dealerships that I have been to in the past. I unfortunately had a poor customer service experience here, but that problem was corrected thanks to s dealerships that I have been to in the past. I unfortunately had a poor customer service experience here, but that problem was corrected thanks to some great management. The finance dept. here was Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I am confident that I left with the best deal possible because of the effort that was put into the financing. More
I went to look for a vehicle, unsure of what I really wanted. Joe Byrd has excellent customer service skills and is an awesome people person. When I made my mind up to buy used. I was given a couple of wanted. Joe Byrd has excellent customer service skills and is an awesome people person. When I made my mind up to buy used. I was given a couple of options and with the expertise and experience of the Nissan of Cheapeake team, (NOC), I walked out (drove away) with a 2011 Maxima!!! The price was well within my budget, thank you Mr. Burke for showing the perks of NOC. Each individual that serviced me were delightful, very knowlegeable and ensured that I had everything I needed. The Nissan of Chesapeake team, I felt had my best intrest at hand and I would like to thank all of them. I was even fortunate enough to have my cell phone charged by no other than Mr. Byrd himself. Thank you for your hospitality. I must say, everyone that I dealt with had such a meek and humble spirit. There's a different kind of atmosphere at this dealership. People who really care. If you are interested in buying, please do not hesitate to stop and ask for Pastor Joe Byrd. You will not only leave happy, but you will have a good time in the process of spending your money. :-) Thank you Joe Byrd, Tanya, Delvin and Kevin, you guys are an awesome part of the team. Truly Grateful Sandra D. Love More
I arrived at 835 for a 845 am appointment. After standing there not being greeting by the 3 people standingthere, someone finally came over and I informed him of my appointment and a few other con standing there not being greeting by the 3 people standingthere, someone finally came over and I informed him of my appointment and a few other concerns I had with my car. He said " you are here for a oil change and a air cabin filter, that is 40 dollars" I asked why I needed the cabin air filter. he informed me I requested it ( I had not) he crossed it off, said " If you need it someone will call you then" told me it would be a hour and walked away. I sat in waiting room until 1030 and then went to go find someone who could tell me where my car was how much longer and what was going on. The cashier found my service advisor who came up with keys and paperwork stated ' I was just going to come get you" dropped them with the cashier and walked away. The cashier tells me it will be 39 dollars for the oil change. I stated I thought those were free, did that change? She said " oh' and went and got mel who picked the paperwork back up and went to change it. I stood there for another 10 minutes and he dropped it back off. The cashier mumbled something about he did the paperwork wrong , slid the keys to me and walked off with the paperwork. I asked" don't I get a copy? " and she said " you don't need one" and left.I took my kys, wandered out to the parking lot and ended up having to set my alarm off to find my car , as I was not told where they put it. When I found it, I saw my car was quite dirty. I stopped another employee and asked and he said " oh you didnt ask for one" ( I had at time of appointment) but very nicely offered to take it to be washed. He returned 10 minutes later with my car. When I got home is when I noticed that while my car was certainly very wet is was not by any stretch clean. I also found when I went inside a email from Mel informing me my car was done and being vacummed( it wasnt) and washed ( it wasnt) So I ended up spending double the time there, NONE of my questions answered, tried to be charged twice for services, no paperwork telling what if anything was done besides get a dirty car wet. I don't even know if they changed the oil, as there was no sticker replaced either telling me when my next oil change is.Pretty shoddy performance. More
I have nothing but praise for how Chesapeake Nissan treated me during my recent purchase. Nissan was not a manufacturer I had considered until I stopped in on my way home. From the very beginning, I wa treated me during my recent purchase. Nissan was not a manufacturer I had considered until I stopped in on my way home. From the very beginning, I was impressed with the professionalism of my sales person, Derrick, and the quality of the vehicles offered. The entire transaction was seamless. Once we decided on a vehicle, the paperwork was processed in under 2 hours. Chesapeake Nissan had a delivery coordinator that went over the fine print, and our salesman spent the time to go over all of the features of the vehicle including setting up the Bluetooth. I ended up with a Murano and could not be happier with my purchase. IN addition, I would not hesitate to recommend Chesapeake Nissan, Derrick Jones, and the rest of the staff at Chesapeake Nisan to anyone. More
