This is the second car purchased at Bald Hill Kia from Al Paulo. Al makes the process very easy and knows the product well. After being to numerous dealerships in Rhode Island and Massachusetts, I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to deal with Bald Hill Kia and Mike Maymon in particular. Mike Maymon was attentive, informat Massachusetts, I cannot tell you how refreshing it was to deal with Bald Hill Kia and Mike Maymon in particular. Mike Maymon was attentive, informative, genuine, no "heavy sales", treated me respectfully, with kindness and friendliness. He gave me just the right amount of space to ask the questions I needed to, went out of his way to gather answers that were not immediately on hand (contacting the previous owner for another key, for instance), gave me all the time in the world to test drive, inspect and just "be with" the car. It was a wonderful experience and VERY different from the hard sell, game playing scene I had been exposed to at other dealerships.... and I have SO little patience for that sort of thing!!! Obtaining financing was done with Frank Vescera at the dealership itself. Frank was informative, did his research and got me a better interest rate than I had been quoted with a local credit union, took his time to literally go over each and every number on the paperwork so that I felt educated and could make some confident decisions. The bottom line is that I got a spectacular Scion XB from 2006 (the fabulous "Toaster Car") with 70,000 miles on it and for a good price. It had a clean carfax and had been through the service center at Kia to attend to some dings and scratches that come with the older car. Let me tell you, it looks wonderful and to date is it performing great. Overall experience - I'm proud of my choice, feel I handled what can be a daunting experience well -- and I was able to do that because of the staff, particularly Mike Maymon, at Kia of Bald Hill. More

I was car shopping with my daughter recently and had the pleasure of working with Joshua at your Kia Dealership. What an outstanding salesperson and asset he is to your company. He went above and beyond what we had hoped for he was very candid and kind hearted to both me and my daughter. He informed us that our car buying process was going to be the beggining to a relationship rather than an ending once our transaction was completed. He has followed up with what he said he would do since the suv we chose had a strange sound in the engine. Joshua and my daughter and I went on second test drive on a Thursday night with my husband who could not make it in the first time there. Josh said he would make sure he took care of it before we picked it up. This guy went in the day he was going on vacation to make sure it was taken care of. He asked me to allow the finance manager to assist us in securing a loan. Frank the finance manager was willing to be there Saturday morning at 8:00 to sign the papers since that was the only time we could be there. When I went looking at Bald Hill Kia it was with the intention of "window shopping". I wanted to get an idea of the different types of vehicles Kia has to offer. Josh approached me within minutes and began to explain how I would be able to get into a new vehicle. He sold me on my new KIA Forte - and I am extremely pleased with my overall experience. Salesman was very helpful and was able to get the Sorento I wanted. He kept in contact with me until he could find what I was looking for, also suggested options I wouldnt of thought I would have needed till I wanted. They answered all my questions and demonstrated they cared that I was making the right choice of vehicle to fit my needs. The finance department was up front with every deatail of my purchase and helped me chose fron several financing options. I recently was in for my second dervice on the car and the transaction was quick and easy my car was cleaned and ready for me when promised. I hope when you buy your next vehicle you will visit Bald Hill Kia. More
I walked in and told the salesperson that I was just looking and didn't want to buy today. I test drove a KIA Optima and asked if he could price it out for me. After offering me TWENTY dollars less th looking and didn't want to buy today. I test drove a KIA Optima and asked if he could price it out for me. After offering me TWENTY dollars less than MSRP and 1/3 of the KBB for my trade, I said thank you for the information. The salesperson then started getting really pushy saying "I thought we had a deal. After spending over an hour with someone (almost all of which was spent getting me a price estimate), I at least deserve something" then just got up and walked away. I was so angry at the customer service that I told the manager. The manager apologized and told me that I could call him for anything or if I had any other questions. So a couple days later, I saw a car online at the dealership for a good price and called the manager. He proceeded to tell me that it was a typo, the car was really $3,000 more than that. I said that they should be more careful about the prices they post online because many shoppers, like myself, shop around primarily on the internet. The manager then said "I don't have to and shouldn't have to explain myself to you." That was the last straw. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealer. The prices are awful and the service is even worse. The only positive is that it is the only KIA dealership in the southern half of RI. However, if you do go, I would recommend asking for someone other than Mike. More
