When you have an emergency, you can depend on BMW! We are ffro KC, 1300 miles from home and our car lost power. We arrived at the dealership at 1:45 Friday afternoon. We were told they were tied up until 5:00, but would check the seriousness at 5:00, and that would tell us if we could drive the car safely. We began planning options of possibly having to stay through Monday or Tuesday if we had serious problems. At 3:00, from Adam Milligan that the problem could be prepared today (new coils and spark plugs and we could be on our way today....WE WERE ON OUR WAY BY 4:30. They somehow made it possible to not only find quicker than 5:00 the problem, but saved us three vacation days! Thank yuo! John & Connie More

Recall Work Dealer replaced the front driver and passenger airbags and one other thing under the recall. They also diagnosed the “back seat unlocked message”, Dealer replaced the front driver and passenger airbags and one other thing under the recall. They also diagnosed the “back seat unlocked message”, part ordered. Found and fixed an eroded motor ground strap that was hampering full power getting to the starter. I had to pay for the diagnosis of the back seat lock problem and for the replacement part. And paid for the ground strap replacement. I found the charge for the “diagnosis of the back seat problem” to be a bit high. I also stopped at the Parts Dept., the worker who helped me was clearly new as he didnt seem familiar with the layout of the underside of the X5. He was able to help me identify and order replacement screws for a right front fender liner replacement installation I’m doing myself. Scheduled to return there in a few days to have the part installed. At that time I intend to speak to the Foreman/Forewoman about the underside matter of the vehicle. Had the good fortune to be offered a free loaner vehicle for the night. The loaner was a 2018 X2 with 74 miles (not a typo). Had most of the latest tech features etc. But after driving an X5 (2009) the new vehicle couldn’t compare in overall comfort, quietness and visibility from the drivers seat. It was informative comparing the advances in technology 2009 vs 2018 which was impressive to say the least. More

Poor customer service It’s an ordeal to bring my car for service. No one seems in charge - it’s chaotic. They don’t pay attention/listen.
