Trading in my 2nd Jaguar, I purchased my first BMW 7 series at BMW of Sherman Oaks (then, Center BMW) in 1986 and have been a gratefully satisfied customer of their Service Department ever since. I was luck enough to meet Mark Rusconi as my first Service advisor, and then was inherited by Brian Douglas when Mark moved to another department. Both can only be described as members of the family. I now live in Oxnard, and I pass 3 BMW dealers to get to the Service Department at BMW of Sherman Oaks because I know that the minute I've schedule an appointment with Brian, he and the army of technicians working for Dave Keirstead will attend to every problem, check things I can hardly pronounce, let alone remember to check myself, and hand me back the keys to a car that looks suspiciously like the one I dropped off, but feels 20,000 mile lighter, and stronger on the road. Three days ago, BMWs 12 and 13 were in the shop for normal-interval service, and the level of personal attention and service is the same as it was the day we all first met. As a 60 year old who has owned over 35 cars, I have dealt with many car dealers, BMW of Sherman Oaks was my best buying experience to date ! I actually traveled from the SF Bay Area due to the great price th with many car dealers, BMW of Sherman Oaks was my best buying experience to date ! I actually traveled from the SF Bay Area due to the great price they had on a BMW X5 and positive reviews. Once I arrived I met with sales person Elias. Elias was very well versed with the vehicle and pleasant to deal with,. We had spoken several times on the phone prior and he was always very reponsive and professional. The car was exactly as described which was important as I wanted no surprises after traveling 400 miles. One of the things I told Elias was that I did not want any pressure from the Finance dept regarding additional purchases, etc. Elias introduced me to the Finance manager, Adela- what a delight she was ! No added pressure, she just let me know what was available and treated me with respect and class- impressive ... After the transaction I was notified there was only 1 key to the vehicle. Elias spoke with the management team and they agreed to send me and additional new key in the mail, which I just received. Also when I jumped in my vehicle for the 400 mile trip home I was pleasantly greeted with a detailed car and a FULL tank of gas... I just can not say enough about the delaer ship and personnel that I had the pleasure of working with - A+ across the Board. If you are considering a new or used vehicle, give them a chance- YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU DID ! More
