Great experience - I was looking to either buy out my leased 430i and then sell it or save time and have a dealership do it all in one fell swoop. We had an open, transparent, productive conversation about how it might or might not work - no games, just trying to see what was best for everyone. We concluded it made sense to come in; he rang me the next week as requested, I popped over, the transparent, thoughtful conversation continued and we worked it all out - everyone got what they wanted and walked away happy. That should always be the standard, but it isn't - perhaps particularly in the car business. That is why I passed the two dealerships that were closer to me and went to the one where I had always had a positive experience - and it was worth it.
