Mr. Asfahl is our service advisor, he is very polite, friendly and helpful. He goes the extra mile to make sure our vehicles get the best service. We have own four different BMW's and we have never had friendly and helpful. He goes the extra mile to make sure our vehicles get the best service. I purchased my last two BMW X5's from Sam Swope BMW. My sales person Lawson McSwain was awsome to work with. Sam Swope also has a superb service department. I've been going there for years. Had a good expeience with dealership in general and especially our salesman...Charles Martin. I went to other dealerships and they were very pusy and aggressive. That was not the case with SS BMW. I just purchased my second vehicle from Sam Swope BMW, because I had such a great experience with my first purchase. From Charles Martin, the sales consultant, to sales management and finance, everyone wh because I had such a great experience with my first purchase. There was no high pressure; instead, I felt the staff was trying to match a vehicle to my needs and price range. What a novel idea. After a 6 hour Drive to the dealership, my trade dropped a couple thousand dollars in value. Understanding our deal was made over the phone and subject to visual acceptance, I knew an adjustment may be requ a couple thousand dollars in value. However, the dealership could give reason for the deacreased value and we settled on the originally agreed price. Three years later I contacted the salesman reqarding a used 650i coupe. The 650i was not liseted with a CPO warranty. When I inquired about adding the CPO, the salesman stated the car would qualify, however it had been listed without the warranty and could not be changed per BMW rules once priced without. Our local BMW dealer disagreed with such a statement. More
I am a medical sales representative whom also enjoys a quaity fun-to-drive vehicle. However, I pride myself on doing some of my service on my own (past SCCA racer)and need/prefer quaity OEM parts. I know I can source parts online, but find using the dealer affords me a much better experience even when I service the car myself. For the times when I don't have the time I refer to Edwin with Swope BMW. He is aware of my needs for my car and always gives excellent ad prompt service. He is my go to guy when I "don't feel like working on it myself" or have the time to fix. Simply put Edwin is the best service writer I have met over the years. I must admit since I enjoy working on my car I get a bit nervous when handing the car over. Again, I have found with an overall excellent and knowledge service writer and his experienced technicians, I have yet to have the car not fixed correctly the first time without the feeling of them guessing or "throwing parts at my problems"! Simply put not the typical dealer experience. Keep it up Edwin, Scott (my technician of choice as well) and Jeff Byrne (service driector) for running a shop I trust! Jeff More
When I decided to purchase a new car, I wanted to find a reliable, safe suv. I must say that Wayne Davenport was exceptional and surpassed any expectations I came into the experience with. He literally spent most of the day with my father and I testing out cars. What struck me the most is that Mr. Davenport could've pushed the more expensive X6, but when we got in the car and I hit the gas, he could tell that I didn't need that much power in a car. It felt like he truly wanted me to be happy with the purchase I was making. He has also called to check on how the service department is doing (which is exceptional). I will definitely return to Sam Swope BMW for my next car purchase, and more importantly, I will be visiting Mr. Davenport. More
