Was just there for two recalls. Service was okay nothing special. Took almost two days to diagnose the car and then another week for the part to come in and complete car. Communication throughout the time could have been more timely, but they're busy so whatever. The main issue was the suggested cost to replace an air filter. I declined since they wanted $196.89 to replace it. The MSRP on the part is $72.06 so $124.83 for 15 minutes of labor if that, are they crazy. That equates to almost $500 an hour for labor. We all know dealers are more expensive but this is crazy. Obviously, their general labor rate is not that high, but they must be padding labor time on some customer pay items. When I got home with the car, I checked the air filter, and it's okay, it took 15 minutes. Would have been less but one of the filter housing clips wanted to be a pain. Consumers, please educate yourselves on the true cost of things. Just because it's a BMW doesn't require you to pay crazy dealer prices on some items. More
