WARNING!!!! Updated. This dealership is as shady as they come BEWARE! I was trying to resolve an issue with service due to a number of issues I was having. The general manager in one conversation accused my of trying to extort money by requesting they REFUND of my labor costs since they couldn't fix the issues I was having multiple times or just outright refusing to address issues. Then THE GM Mr Clarke threatened to extort money from me by charging me extra for previous free loaners. That is extortion. I was berated, belittled, threatened and then they said I should bring my car back to them so I could repeat the experience. No thank you. I would also like to point out that this kind of harassment hinges on criminal. THEY DO NOT HONOR THE GUARANTEES THEY SET. They are Forcing me to take legal action since they have no intention of refunding my money even though I will never bring my car back to them so they can do more damage or allow them the chance to my vehicle or take more of my money. Every copy paste response to these reviews is a sham and this dealer will be brought to justice, but I am posting these to protect you the reader and possible customer from an absolute nightmare of an experience. I am appalled by the Low quality of service I received at this business. I was trying to get my vehicle fixed for repairs on my vehicle. The following repairs are unsatisfactory, incomplete, failed, or slopp this business. I was trying to get my vehicle fixed for repairs on my vehicle. The following repairs are unsatisfactory, incomplete, failed, or sloppy. I had my panoramic sunroof repaired because it was not functioning and the repair cost way more than what was quoted. The seal around the sunroof frame is failing and separating from the body of the car after just couple of months of light use. I tried to bring this concern and they stand behind the absolute crap reassembly of the part. They refuse to acknowledge the poor job they did to try to save them the loss of labor to fix the part which after paying thousands of dollars should be brand new. Multiple repairs they have performed were not done properly and had to be re repaired including another over 1k in labor and still is not properly done. They replaced the emblem on the rear of the vehicle and visibly scratched up my paint really bad around it. I have attempted to resolve these issues and have met with nothing but resistance and condescending attitudes. The GM with an over exuberant sense of self importance said he would make sure they would do right by the guarantee they have and has since completely ignored me. Including refusing to return calls or be present when I was told to bring my vehicle in for repairs. They spent more energy trying too demonize me than make any real attempt at fixing this. I have sunk nearly $7000 into the repairs for this car and Im told by another BMW certified mechanic that the repairs they made will not last. They tout a unconditional guarantee but fail to honor the high standards they set or stand behind the work they perform. I STRONGLY ADVISE anyone reading this to please shop somewhere else, and get better customer service and Quality of service from anywhere else. More

Best dealership experience I have ever had from start to finish. I've shopped at quite a few dealerships and like most people reading reviews online, I can't stand most of them. David at BMW Portland far exceeded my expectations in all respects, and that’s difficult. I just took delivery of a new custom ordered car from David and BMW Portland, and was honestly surprised by how smoothly it went from start to finish. Having recently moved to the Pacific Northwest from Southern California, and looking to lease my fifth BMW, I had been told to expect an elitist and uncompromising attitude from BMW dealers in Seattle and Portland. David made my experience completely the opposite. I tend to be aggressive negotiating and do extensive research on options. David never missed a beat and was forthright with all leasing and pricing terms. As a plus, he really enjoys BMWs so he could answer all my questions about M Performance accessories and various option packages to improve driving dynamics for my car. After the process was complete I was extremely happy to have found a new dealership that I can use for years to come. I’ll never have any doubt I will be treated fairly and always receive truthful information. I’ll be recommending David to anyone in the market for a BMW. More

We walked into BMW Portland one day to look at the X1. Ty just happened to be the one who greeted us. We were immediately impressed with his deep knowledge of the BMW brand and all the options out there. He just happened to be the one who greeted us. He was very patient with us as we hemmed and hawed for several weeks before finally purchasing Edie, our beautiful new European delivery X1. Ty was super helpful throughout the process. He provided all kinds of words of wisdom about financing, vehicle features and options, color choices (very important to me!), and the European Delivery process. This was the best car purchase experience ever. Ty was great, the European delivery pick up process was an amazing experience, Edie is a beautiful car perfect for us, and the entire staff of BMW Portland was great as a whole. You can't go wrong buying a BMW (especially European Delivery!) and Ty at BMW Portland is the place to go. I know we'll be back when it's time to replace our next car. More

I was having issues with the navigation system after a recent update. Eric Devier is indeed a genius when it comes to the Nav System. He took his time explaining how to achieve the results I was looking recent update. Eric Devier is indeed a genius when it comes to the Nav System. He took his time explaining how to achieve the results I was looking for. He spent about 45 minutes to an hour with me and I left knowing a lot more about the NAV System than when I arrived. He told me if I had any more questions to call him any time. I highly recommend BMW of Portland, OR and if and when I buy another car, it will be a BMW and from BMW of Portland. More
