When I came to drop off my vehicle for an oil change the guy tried to tell me I needed $1000 worth of xxxxxxxx. I get it I work for a lithia dealership but when I told him that he didn’t back off. Just disappointed I just wanted my oil changed and my codes for the oil change to be cleared and they did the oil change but didn’t do the clearing the codes. Just kinda lame man. I wanted to be treated better bringing my bmw to a bmw service center I can go to my store but I don’t work at a bmw More

So, I brought in my car with a tire issue. I inflated it before bringing it in, and noted which one was flat (rear/passenger). They were super helpful and turned it around quickly. However, they replaced the wrong tire, and then were unwilling to help fix the issue (and tried to gaslight me about which tire I claimed was a problem, though it was clearly documented in the intake form, which I had a copy of). I brought it back, and even helped find the insurance info for a replacement, and they ghosted me repeatedly. So, it's still a problem for me, and I don't expect that they'll deal with me at all. Never again. More

Will Wahlin is a rockstar who made this experience the BEST service department experience I've ever had! I brought my car in for some recall work and to get a new key via a third-party warranty. He went through extra hoops to work with the third-party warranty company and even preemptively reached out to them when he discovered a service issue during my recall repair. He was extremely helpful and kept me well informed during the entire process. He wasn't ever condescending; just friendly and genuinely concerned about making sure I knew what was going on with my vehicle. I didn't buy my vehicle from BMW of Portland but because of the great experience I had with Will, I will be sure to consider them when I am ready for something new!
