I will never recommend this dealership to anyone, especially a female. The salesman didn't even know my name by the end of the deal. He treated me with distain, disrespect, and acted as if I was wa especially a female. The salesman didn't even know my name by the end of the deal. He treated me with distain, disrespect, and acted as if I was wasting his time and didn't care if he sold the car or not. I am an educated professional woman that runs my own business, but he was only interested in a deal when my husband came in and sat at the table. From that point on he ignored me and dealt with my husband, even though I was sitting right there and telling him whether I would or would not accept the offer presented. I bought the car - not my husband. VIP customer service??? That is a joke. I wish I had read the reviews on this site earlier, I would not have come to this BMW and waited for another used 5 series that I wanted to show up at another dealership. I have a sprained ankle and the entire 5 hours I was there I had to get up and hobble over to the other side of the dealership to get my own water. Half the time while waiting for a response on the negotiations the salesman was standing over by the water station watching TV. Furthermore, while assessing my trade-in bmw, they took the car for a test drive without asking and asking permission if they took my car off the lot. I completely understand the need to assess the vehicle, but would expect they would ask and get permission prior to leaving the lot. During the deal the salesman lied numerous times. I did my research and knew the MSRP of the vehicle. He claimed the MSRP was higher than it actually was, and totally discounted my compatibles at other BMW dealerships claiming you can't compare two vehicles. I know how you review comparibles...he was not even professional or friendly in looking at me to try and make me feel stupid like I didn't know what I was talking about. He never asked a personal question about me, my husband or 6month old child. He never made eye contact with me, and truly made me feel small and that dealing with a woman was a waste of his time. Also, after we agreed on a price (which that is the only good point) I did get a good deal on the car, I walked outside to find another salesman trying to sell the car to another couple and they were sitting in the car talking about a test drive!! Seriously. FINALLY - IF YOU DO BUY A CAR there...make sure you COMPARE the final deal sheet with the contract printed up. I FOUND SEVERAL MISTAKES ON THE FINAL CONTRACT. While the mistake was only $9 a month more a month - it was a mistake that would have cost me over $600. Makes me question the professional nature of this dealership. I do not trust their word and am taking the vehicle I bought even though it is CPO and have an independent BMW shop give the car a look over so that I can take it to other BMW dealership to fix while under full warranty before anything goes wrong with the car. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. More
Horrible! I am going to preface this with every car Horrible! I am going to preface this with every car you purchase may eventually have a problem. So to be clear, it is not the fact that my car had Horrible! I am going to preface this with every car you purchase may eventually have a problem. So to be clear, it is not the fact that my car had multiple issues, but rather how BMW of Concord specifically choose to deal with me as their supposed "Special VIP." Only June 21st I bought a 2011 CPO BMW X5 with 28,000 miles. It was sold to me by Ken Gonsalves. His sales pitch included "we only sell low miles cars so that they don't have a problem... this is a family dealership that BMW execs were just at touring because it is one of the best... we treat you like our family." Unfortunately I should have checked yelp before trusting this man, and my experience was hardly that. Within a week the car was in the shop because Concord BMW forgot to charge the battery leading me to my first loaner car experience. In addition, I kept hearing a strange rattle whenever the engine started - thinking that was normal because a BMW Concord technician had just done the "certification exam" I am assuming would mean starting the car and a simple youtube search would have indicated that was a problem. Of course not knowing much about cars - I didn't realize this until my vanos unit blew apart 35 days after purchasing the vehicle while driving on a freeway and caused the engine to shut down. Not fun navigating a car that is loosing speed on i-80 in rush hour Berkeley traffic. The car ended up having three more engine malfunctions which frankly if the Vanos unit was caught during the inspection would have never happened. So after 3 tow trucks and only driving my car trouble free for 11 days in Aug I am happy to report BMW will buy my car back - no thanks to BMW of Concord who never helped me with the process. In addition when I was stuck on the side of the road I called Ken Gonsalves, who just 35 days prior shook my hand and told me if I ever needed anything with this BMW he was my guy - just call him and he would take care of it. The day I called him while waiting 2 hours for a tow - his initial response "Its not my car - its BMWs car you have to deal with them." When I tried to bring this to the attention of management and to express my concern that they are effectively not doing their job I got the same response from their management teams - Gary Daniels (Parts Manger) and Richard Sellers (Sales Manager). Although at least Gary admitted it is possible we missed something. Bottom line - cars break down. But when crap goes wrong, I expect every dealership to take responsibility for their share and work towards a solution rather than leaving their customers in the dark. Because of the amount of servicing I had to under go, I ended up spending a lot of time at Neillo BMW. They were incredible. So helpful, went out of their way when things were going wrong to acknowledge, apologize, provide a solution, and more importantly continually follow up. If you are considering dealing with Concord BMW, do yourself a favor - go to another dealership and save yourself 2 months of frustration. More

I have bought a car from here (thanks Harpoon!) as well as had 2 BMW's serviced. Not a single complaint for any staff member; they go above and beyond for their clients. Haroon was OK but was the fill in sales person for Matt who was more interested in taking his vacation than getting the car right for my expectations. My 335i CPO was near its end and I went in for last service to take care of few things including waste gate rattle and cricket sounding belt tensionr. Tim was very helpful and continued to push to fin service to take care of few things including waste gate rattle and cricket sounding belt tensionr. Tim was very helpful and continued to push to find few phantom issues I told him about. Tim continues great service what my previous SA (Jessica who is no longer there)did. . Highly recommend Tim as service advisor. I am willing to drive 50 miles to this dealer as Sonnen is nowhere near the quality level service. More
I made an offer for a car and they told me they would only give me three hundred dollars off and they wouldn't go down a penny less, for a car that that is 45,000 dollars there aren't many people who wan only give me three hundred dollars off and they wouldn't go down a penny less, for a car that that is 45,000 dollars there aren't many people who want to pay that amount for a used car, you would think they would do anything to get a car sold. Being a lease return dealerships make money on them no mater what. The salesman was so unprofessional, u wouldn't thiink someone like him should be representing BMW. This is why I bought a Mercedes Instead. More
I bought a used/certified 2010 BMW 128i this Saturday and dealt with Wendy Dahlstrom. This was a vehicle that does not come around very often. I did my homework and had a particular list of how do I want my dealt with Wendy Dahlstrom. This was a vehicle that does not come around very often. I did my homework and had a particular list of how do I want my car to be. It was in perfect condition to start with and they took it in for a certification and detailing and after that it was spotless. Not possible to get it any better. Wendy was really great from the very start on Wednesday last week when I quoted this vehicle on the car look-up website. She had called me right away, scheduled a meeting for later that same day and gave me the test drive. Then we've spend about 3 hours negotiating and she was really pleasant, worked out a deal with me. The car I've loved at the first sight and was determined to get it and deal she made was to my satisfaction all right. She spent a couple of ours with us when we picked it up, going over every little detail and feature of the car. I could not have been happier with my experience at BMW Concord due to Wendy's professionalism and great personality. Also would like to mention Jennifer in the financial department. We went over that mountain of the paperwork fast and painlessly! She was really great in explaining available options and all. Great work guys! Highly recommended! Despite the car is subjected to be obsoleted and replaced by 2012 models but I find the dealer still inflated the price to the rooftop and I'm stupid enough to buy a car without doing enough research. The sale person kept insisting it's GREAT deal!! (of course she wants to have the car sold). Anyway I consider this as my expensive lesson learned so I know what to do next time I have to deal with the dealer. I beg all new buyers to read my recommendations below so you won't make the same mistake I did and will probably be able to save 10k or even more. - Thoroughly research on the car you want on internet. Check how's the price of the car should be on websites such as Yahoo Cars, Edmunds or go to Ebay and see how people bid for the car. That way you'll get general idea what's the price range of the car. You should have the car you want in mind before going to dealer. Don't let the dealer choose it for you or give you options. You should be the one who give them options!! Remember it's buyers' market in this kind of economy!! - Don't be distracted by whatever the sale person says. Just focus on the car you want with the price range you want. If they don't give you what you want, feel free to walk away. There're plenty of choices out there. Also don't discuss your monthly payment with the seller. If you're preoccupied with monthly payment, there's chance you'll overlook the total price you pay for the car. Focus only on the car's price only!! - Don't buy any extended warrantee or any kind of warrantees. This will inflate the price even more and it's not worth the money. If the regular warrantee expires, there're plenty of BMW repair shops out there with cheap price. Although BMW claim they have free maintenance for 4 years but in reality there's almost no service during the first 4 years at all. Only a couple of simple maintenances with no major replacement and almost costs nothing. For those who like Audi or Mercedes, go ahead and buy it. Even they don't provide free maintenances but it won't be much different. Don't be trapped by BMW free maintenances. - Shop for your own finance. There're plenty of third party finance services out there who offer better APR than BMW. If possible, don't get the finance offered by any dealer because most of the time they come with high APR!! They gave me 4% rate and yet they told me it's GREAT deal. Hello? Even Bank of America is giving only 2.9% for car loan. - Buying a car online is good way to avoid direct confrontation with dealers and you're likely to have more choices and more generous offers in there. If you want to see how the car look like, go get some test drives with local dealers but don't buy from them. As for me, I'm done with BMW Concord unless they consider remaking the deal to make up what they've done to me which is very unlikely. You would feel like idiot or being betrayed after making the deal with them. I just hope they're more honest to customers in order to establish long term relationship. There're going to be a few more cars I'll buy in my lifetime but the next one won't be with BMW Concord for sure. More
