Wonderful Experience We started out at a couple different dealerships shopping for an SUV. NIssan North Olmsted wasn't too bad of an experience, only thing that bothered us is the sales person was too much of a sales person . . . wouldn't leave us alone to talk to each other or focus and look at vehicles on our own. We first visited on a Friday 10 minutes before closing, hoping we could just look without being swarmed, but no such luck. We said we'd come back the next day and look first and then come and see him if we were interested; but the next day he was standing at the door and came out when we pulled in, even though I told him we wanted time to look, he didn't back off. I had my heart set on a Buick Encore for the past couple of years anyway so we left and stopped at Morris Buick and wow, we couldn't get out of there fast enough. They advertised a fantastic sale on new Encores; however, they only had two in stock with AWD. He spent most of the time trying to talk us into something we didn't want and kept questioning why we wouldn't consider leasing; he'd ask the same question in different ways . . . adding insult to the mix. It basically turned out to be a bait and switch scenario. So we made a last minute decision to go to Axel Rod on Brookpark Road, and yes, our guard was up. I have to say it was one of the best experiences purchasing a car that we have ever had. We first applied online for a specific car. When we arrived, a friendly sales person met us and when we told him about applying online, he looked it up on their system, and rather than steal a sale from his colleague, he turned us over to the person whose queue our application fell into . . . very classy! We ended up negotiating with Simon DiPasquale. What a great individual to deal with, and believe me I was not an easy customer!!! He was patient and very concerned that we would get what we wanted. He put up with us for almost 3 hours and helped us secure the trade-in value we were looking for and was concerned about keeping us in budget. He knew what he was doing as a professional but did not try to "sell" us a car . . . he allowed us to "buy" a car , , , there is a difference. We got exactly what we wanted and within our budget. I can't say enough good things about the Simon and the Axel Rod staff, even the Axel family came out to meet us and thank us for our business. I FINALLY GOT MY ENCORE . . . something I didn't think would happen, and a great, great experience. More

Great Experience Found What seemed like a great vehicle, great deal only problem it was 8.5 hrs away from me. This made me nervous, but I inquired. I was contacted promptly and then called and texted by my salesperson. Seth was very thorough and detailed w his description of condition both cosmetic and mechanical. He forwarded me pictures, Carfax, service history, and the dealerships safety inspection. We reached an agreement on price and the dealership assisted me with having the vehicle transported to my own state. Upon arrival the car was exactly as described ,no surprises. I love my new vehicle. Seth followed up making sure that everything went smoothly. I did not think I was the type of guy that could buy a car sight unseen but I'm so glad I did.
