Excellent staff, hindered by antiquated processes The staff at Audi Palo Alto is great, no matter their role. I recently had my 2016 S5 serviced, and, a few weeks later, traded-in for a new 2019 S5. E The staff at Audi Palo Alto is great, no matter their role. I recently had my 2016 S5 serviced, and, a few weeks later, traded-in for a new 2019 S5. Excellent service all along. However why does an Audi dealership, whose brand is synonymous with high-technology and innovation, stay trapped in 1960’s like processes? Every paper must be hand-signed, lease applications must be the original forms, email exchanges are not encrypted despite sensitive information, and I could go on and on. And we are at the heart of Silicon Valley! I bought a house last year and did everything online. Why is it not possible when buying a car? The risk here is that the older brands, which use dealerships stuck in the 1960’s, will get overrun by Tesla and new upcoming brands, not so much by the technology of the cars (as the design studios of Audi and others are fast followers) but because of the service. I actually wish Audi would purchase all its dealerships to control the brand experience end-to-end like luxury fashion brands have done over the last decade. In conclusion, great staff, but poor processes. More

We really appreciated the time spent to make us feel comfortable in making a decision. We purchased the car and everyone involved was pleasant and tried to make the paperwork portion as efficient as possible. If we are ever in the market for an Audi we would definitely return to Audi of Palo Alto. More
