My daughter-in-law brought her Ford Focus in for a simple oil change on September 30. After being convinced she needed a 90k mile maintenance, she agreed. $580.81 later she drove off in tears. Per the re oil change on September 30. After being convinced she needed a 90k mile maintenance, she agreed. $580.81 later she drove off in tears. Per the receipt, that included $313.95 in labor for: 1) Oil and filter change, 2) check brakes, 3) fill all fluids, 4) change coolant service (see below), 5) change air filter. As part of that visit, she asked them to check the brakes … which lead to the 90k mile maintenance. She was told and received a printout that the front/rear brakes, brake lines, and calipers were great - good for at least 12k more miles. 4 weeks later, while she is driving home from a funeral in Peoria - the rotors and pads on the brakes were gone. Buyer beware. Mike Waddle, Service Advisor, cannot be trusted. He took advantage of my daughter-in-law and we will never return to Arlington Heights Ford. There was no way they did an inspection worth $580. It was not only the brake issue, but our new mechanic checked the coolant system and antifreeze levels and said neither were filled or touched in the last 6-9 months. When she began asking question, all of sudden Mike Waddle had urgent phone calls to take. After 40 minutes later she left with the promise of a return call that never came. Buyer beware. Consider other options. Name of customer: Tori Basham More
