IT WAS " DON'T USE THEIR SERVICE DEPT. I DRIVE A TON, SO I WAS GETTING A MONTHLY OIL CHANGE. THESE GUYS KNEW ME. MY NIRO THREW A ROD IN THE ENGINE. IT WAS " REPLACED ", EXCEPT ONLY THE SHORT BLOCK. I WAS ALREADY HAVING AN ISSUE WITH THE ENGINE AND HAD CODES THROWN THAT SEEMED TO HAVE RESOLVED. IT WAS A WARRENTY JOB. THERE WAS NO REASON TO TRY TO " CUT COSTS ". IN FACT IT TAKES LONGER TO DO A SHORT BLOCK BECAUSE OF THE TRANSFER OF THE HEAD. SO IT TOOK LONGER AND IT WASNT CHECKED FOR DEFECTS REPORTED BY KIA. THEN THE RENTAL WAS TOO SMALL AND I WAS ELEIGIBLE FOR AN UPGRADE, BUT THE SEVICE MANAGER AND ENTERPRISE DIDNT CALL KIA TO CONFIRM. I HAD TO. BUT IT DIDNT MATTER. THEY REFUSED TO MAKE ME COMFORTABLE WHILE THEY TOOK THEIR SWEET TIME DOING UNNECESSARY WORK THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY HAD JUST ORDERED THE LONG BLOCK. WHEN I CALLED TO TELL TODD MY GRIEVENCE, HE HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I CALLED HIM AND THE SEVICE DEPT ON THEIR " CUSTOMER SERVICE" NOW ITS THROWING ENGINE CODES AGAIN. I TOOK IT TO MEDVED KIA. THEY RAN THE DIAGNOSTIC, FOUND THE PROBLEM, REPORTED IT TO KIA AND HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT IN COMMUNICATING. More

They offered me $1000 Trade-In (I got the same amount from another dealership that doesn't even sell Kia's!). Trying to get into a used car with them that I could afford was useless. They wouldn't work with me at all on the trade in and "iced" us for several hours sitting in the lobby so they could pitch me on a new car that there is no way I could afford. When I called to speak to Courtney the General Manager to ask for a courtesy waiving of the $180 diagnostic fee so the reputable dealership I got a car from could tow my old car away - he outright refused to take or return my calls. He is overly aggressive in selling warranties, going so far as tell me I don’t care to take care of my new SUV which is basically a Range Rover or Escalade (c’mon man, really?). He didn’t like being called on that either, cowered down when confronted about his childish tactics. Wasn’t hard to get him to cut the price of a warranty in half, either. He also tried lying about the warranty that comes on the vehicle already—too bad I had done my research, Darrell. He had me sign forms but told me to leave the date fields right next to my signature blank. Very, very dishonest. I provided this feedback to the manager via email when their automated emails went out to solicit feedback—no reply. I flew in from out of state to pick up my vehicle and the price increased $1,200 from the written term sheet sent to me via email. $500 because I wouldn’t be eligible for the financing rebate I was told I’d receive over the phone. $700 for their “delivery fee” which is just xx some dealerships pull to increase their cut. Short story, take your business elsewhere. Sad these guys are still in business. Sad that Kia doesn’t reach out to new customers to get their feedback about their dealerships like GMC always has. After speaking with Jakeob on the phone I drove over a 100 miles to make this purchase. Even tho it was getting late the next step with the financial department was pretty easy too! The next morning (Wednesday) I woke up and proof read all the electronic documents from the sale and noticed there was a clerical error on the tax form. I called the dealership immediately to get this corrected before anything was filed but only got the financial departments voicemail. I continued to call and leave messages with different people multiple times a day and never got a response til day 6! Finally when I got a hold of the financial director I was told it was too late and nothing could be changed to fix this clerical error. I feel that It was very unprofessional to be ignored by the whole Kia team for almost a week. The moment I signed the papers the dealership could careless about my concerns. Especially since I left a voicemail with Kourtney the GM and never got a return call. I would never refer anyone to Arapahoe Kia after this experience! Shane More

Waste of Time - Bait and Switch Dishonest and unethical. Dealt with a salesman and his manager for a week or so via email. Gave them photos and VIN # of the trade. When I got to the dealer, the trade # went down by $1000 because of a CARFAX record, but the had the VIN# for a week and the trade offer was based on that specific VIN. To make matters worse, the final lease payment went up by over $70/month from what was originally quoted. Overall, in reading these reviews, I'm happy they backed out and did not get my business. I bought my car through the internet. I ask the salesman to take a video and show me all the defects on the car. He did a walk around and told me the car was almost perfect and the windshield was perfect an to take a video and show me all the defects on the car. When we got to the dealership there was a chip in the windshield, six different pea-sized places where the paint was chipped off, a spot where the back Fender had been scratched and you could tell it had ran into something. There were also many other scratches and door dings probably a total of 15 defects. When I complained he went to get his manager and this man came out and was rude and arrogant before he even said hello or introduced himself. He said he would take $300 off the price because that is what it would cost him to fix it. Well of course a normal person is going to have to pay a lot more than that. He was extremely aggressive and rude. Now I'm lucky because my husband is the manager of a body shop so he can fix all the flaws for the $300 discount but a regular person off the street would not be able to do so. I told him it was about principle and integrity since I asked for a video with all the defects but they don't seem to care anything about principal or integrity. The sad thing is I would have bought the car anyways because really I did get a fabulous deal on it because they bought 50 rental cars and it was the best price I could find anywhere and it was exactly what I was looking for. If the salesman would have shown me all the defects on the video I asked for I would have bought the car and been perfectly happy but since he didn't of course I was disappointed. The manager was so rude coming out the door and verbally attacking me that I would have left without the car strictly because of his attitude but I had already put $3,000 down on my credit card. He is an extremely rude and obnoxious man. He knew we had just driven 6 hours to get there so he figured he could act anyway he wanted but I really would have left just over this man's behavior if I had not put down money on my credit card already. The salesman was a kid who'd only worked there for 2 months and he told me he would take what I said to heart and practice showing better videos. He knew he could see all those defects but chose not to show them to me. Now the price was really great but I'm pretty sure the car has electrical problems which was not disclosed to me. And there's no telling what else. Thank God there's still some warranty left on it but I'm going to have to get it in the shop pretty quickly to get everything fixed. If all you want is a really good price then this is the car lot for you. But if you're looking for integrity, principal, and polite people this is not the car lot for you. And you cannot trust the video they send you and if you have to deal with the manager he is one of the most abrasive people I have ever met. So like I said if it's all about money for you this is a great place but if you expect a little more from a company don't come here. I still have the video the salesman sent me saying there was only one scratch and that he had inspected the car and I have pictures of all the paint chips dings scratches and window chip that I can supply with anyone who would like to see More

Sales people lied to my face about vehicles in their inventory (ya' know, that are posted publicly online), and the finance staff straight lied about warranty coverage (which I knew because I own 3 other Kia's). Also had to wait 5 hours for the finance staff after the test drive. If you know what you're doing and are prepared to put up with their crap, it's survivable. But if you're not committed to a specific vehicle in their inventory, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. More
