My Soul was towed to Arapahoe Kia (where I bought it) after the Check Engine light started blinking. They had it for three days without telling me anything. I called on the third, Thursday, around noon a after the Check Engine light started blinking. They had it for three days without telling me anything. I called on the third, Thursday, around noon and was told the service advisor would call me back. He did not. On Friday I called again in late afternoon and was told the car had engine failure, they would need to keep it for at least a few more days the following week (“maybe the whole week”) to do “testing” to see if it qualified for the warranty coverage. Engine failure on a 2020 model with less than 32K miles and it might not be covered under the warranty? And days of “testing”? Possibly another 2 or 3 weeks to replace the engine, and no mention of a loaner. Over the weekend I did some online research and read reviews of dealerships. Arapahoe Kia has a low rating. I had a bad feeling about them, anyway, from my own experience and decided to have the car moved to Emich Kia on Monday, and what a relief! The Emich service department was instantly responsive and accommodating. The next morning I was told the results of the diagnostic (yes, engine failure), that it was covered by the warranty, and I would be given a loaner later that day. Less than three weeks later my car had a new engine and it didn’t cost me a penny, not even the initial diagnostic—Arapahoe Kia charged me $230 for theirs. More
I wanted to wait a couple of months before I wrote this review. I don't know about other patrons experiences, I can only relay my own. I want to preface this review with how overly cynical I am when it com review. I don't know about other patrons experiences, I can only relay my own. I want to preface this review with how overly cynical I am when it comes to buying a car. Being from New York and in sales for over 40yrs, I look for the con. Over the years I am the worst nightmare to any dealership who screws me. I am the guy, on Saturdays, with the big huge sign outside the dealership, stating how I was screwed over. That's me. I narrowed down my Search to a Kia Telluride or a Hyundai Palisade, based on all the top reviews suggesting either of those cars. I all but gave up on the Telluride, because it had to be ordered and would take a few months. However, the Hyundai sales guy kept forgetting to call me back, so I went into Arapahoe Kia just west of it. Seth Stone greeted my wife, my adult son with Down syndrome, and I. I explained to him what we wanted, what features I wanted, and the price range. He explained they do not go above the MSRP, but due to demand, won't go below it either. I have never bought a vehicle at or above MSRP; I like to barter and haggle. He said we could order one exactly as we wanted, only put $100 down, and it was fully refundable at any time. So we decided to do that, and then shop else where. This was in late January and he said it looks like it will be late March to early April, when the car will be delivered. I went to several other Kia Dealers and most of them had only 1 or 2 Tellurides, priced them above MSRP, and said Arapahoe Kia always has the most(Even though they didn't have any) and the quickest order. The service at those other dealerships seemed sketchy at best and a bit too "Salesmanly" if that's a word. I went back to the Hyundai dealership several times, and I was told they'll have more in a few days. I told them I am ready to buy, and each time they never called me. We got updates from the factory on the stages of our car being built. I don't know why, but I thought that was impressive, a nice touch, and an effective sales tool, as I already felt some attachment to my new car. We were told in late March our car would be delivered in a few days and to start financing arrangements. I am a disabled vet so I went through USAA. I was approved in less than a day and it was sent over to Arapahoe KIA. When we got there Seth showed us the car. It was even better than I thought. dark Grey exterior, with a white(light grey) and black interior, and beautiful grey wood finishes. the 20" wheels were impressive too. We started the paperwork, then to finance where they had my USAA loan. Yes I did have to do another credit check, and that did bug me a bit, but it had something to do with security and a national mandate, or something like that. So no big deal. When that part was finished, Seth Stone took well over an hour to explain the hundreds of features on our car, both inside and outside. He sat with us patiently showing everything it did. Never rushing to finish and asking us for any questions frequently. In all the cars I bought, I never remember a sales person taking that amount of time after the sale. Then he put a big bow on the car, and took some pics. We finished up and I drove away. I love this car. It is as much feature packed as $80-90k SUV's we were looking at, much less expensive, and with a better warranty. I am in outside corporate sales and this car is my office. I am totally impressed with how Arapahoe Kia and Seth Stone handled the sale, especially considering some of the other reviews on here. I really expected a fight and had a very pleasant experience. Will go back when my wife is ready for her Sportage. More
I was ready to purchase a plug-in hybrid Sportage at Arapahoe Kia. I had put in a refundable deposit for the waitlist and went through my credit union's car buying program to secure financing for the pu Arapahoe Kia. I had put in a refundable deposit for the waitlist and went through my credit union's car buying program to secure financing for the purchase from this dealership with the best interest rate. Went in to test drive the car and were told that the credit union was not one of their partners and they refused to accept financing from that credit union, even though it was linked to the car buying program. With interest rates where they are right now, it is important to consider all the options to find the best rate for a car loan. I have never had this experience before where a dealer is so unwilling to accept financing from outside of the dealership. Ended up walking away from the sale, since the dealership was not willing to consider accepting outside financing for the purchase. More

Stay away. They will keep your license and key until you agree to buy a vehicle. They take their time so you even forget that they took your license and key. The sales team was not good, they were drinking alcohol while attempting to sell the vehicle. And when I decided to purchase the vehicle they told me okay we will get your vehicle set up for you instead th while attempting to sell the vehicle. And when I decided to purchase the vehicle they told me okay we will get your vehicle set up for you instead they took it to the liquor store bought more alcohol and brought me my vehicle's same as is when I test drove it. No extra gas or nothing. The vehicle did all the work to impress me without their so-called sales team. And I purchased a warranty for my vehicles electric components and parts through them and they told me that this warranty is good to have because you have so many electrical parts. But they never told me that they don't cover a battery the most electrical part in the vehicle lol and they told me where to take my vehicle for the diagnosis then they told me I have to pay for it. SMH why send me something that is more expensive if you know your company is not going to cover it? Good job on lying and stealing from your customers. Haha y'all are a joke and I have been telling everyone about this experience. And Arapahoe Kia actually reached out to me after this post. And they let me know that they do not offer any warranty for your battery for vehicles that are over 32,000 miles. So if any of you want to have a warranty for your battery through this company you must buy a vehicle that is under 32k miles. And my vehicle is still at the certified mechanic that THEY had me take it to. So I have not had my vehicle that I am paying for from 2/17/2023 and still don't have it and today is 3/5/2023. Bravo Arapahoe Kia you tell people to go to your designated mechanics who are more expensive knowing you will not cover any of the charges. Your company is pathetic. More
Really wish I had read the reviews of this dealership before walking in the door. Horrible experience. They are the definition of "used car salesman". We were purchasing a car in cash and their finance g before walking in the door. Horrible experience. They are the definition of "used car salesman". We were purchasing a car in cash and their finance group required us to run credit. They wasted over three hours of our time running back and forth to run numbers that should have never changed. Entire transaction felt underhanded and crooked. Would not recommend this dealership; please look at the other options. We purchased my husbands Kia from Red Rocks Kia and had a wonderful experience so it is not Kia - it is just this dealership that is horrible. More
It’s been a few years since I bought a new car, so I thought things had changed. Apparently they haven’t. Went to test drive a KIA Forte that was advertised on their website. Scott even called me while thought things had changed. Apparently they haven’t. Went to test drive a KIA Forte that was advertised on their website. Scott even called me while I was in route to make sure I was still coming in. When I got there, Scott told me that the car I wanted had been broken into the night before and was in the shop. What a coincidence ! He had another for me to test drive, but it was a totally different model for $5000 more. The old bait and switch just like the in the vacation movie. Count your fingers when you leave this dealer More
