i went here to purchase a car. Before i realized my circumstance, I was sitting in front of the financed manager. My salesman disappeared. I requested they not add and extra fees such as insuranc etc Of course they did it anyway and just said sign here. I got home and noticed the added fees. I went back to the dealer and requested my auto back. They said no but would issue a credit to the bank for 1812.00 and 197.00. In addition, the numbers did not add up correctly and again they promised to issue me a credit. The first two items were handled but the last was not. It has been 6 months now and still have no response from Ancira Nissan. I sort of thought ancira was honest but now i just think I am stupid. When they added up the total, they included an extra 1000.00 without telling me. This will be the last of my business with ancira and I will discuss this with the State of Texas and my bank. If you buy a car here, take a CPA with you. More

I called to order parts for my car. Gary said they were special order. When I said to order him he said you need to pay first and we don't take cards over the phone. I told him to use my shop account the special order. When I said to order him he said you need to pay first and we don't take cards over the phone. I told him to use my shop account then so I would not have to make a trip out there to prepay. He sounded upset. I get the impression he enjoys being rude and I defeated him by being able to special order without prepaying. I told him I would not be at the shop to accept the parts and to call me when they arrived. He asked for my number. A few days later I call to inquire if they arrived and Gary says yeah and they were rejected by the shop when the were delivered. I told him I asked for pick up. He argued no I didn't and he was the one that took the order. He then tells me it is my fault that his driver had to make a wasted trip. I tell him I want to pick up the parts and he says he already sent them back to Nissan. I ask him if he is just going to keep being rude or correct his mistake. He hangs up. UPDATE: Service manager took the time to come out and speak to me. He apologized on behalf of Ancira Nissan and I feel handled the situation very well. More

We responded to ad online through ancira.com. Noel received us when we arrived and took us through the entire process. The test drive was courteous and helpful, as was the paperwork and financing process. The offer for our trade in was very weak, but we were able to negotiate a satisfactory amount based on an offer we had received from another dealer. Justin Long in the finance department was also very helpful and courteous. The only mild complaint we had was the amount of time it took to complete the transaction, over five hours. These guys get top ratings from me because:A) I'd had a hideous experience with a local dealership here in Austin, Town North Nissan, and was very skeptical about Nissan in general, and had little faith th hideous experience with a local dealership here in Austin, Town North Nissan, and was very skeptical about Nissan in general, and had little faith that I would ever be able to do business with a Nissan dealer again, and B) They made no money from me at all, but treated me as if I'd handed them a blank check. The local dealer, with whom I'd thought I had a good relationship with and who had helped me two years ago, had failed to contact me with some BASIC information I had asked for on December 21. With the assurance that it "would take some time to get an answer" about whether or not they could help me with the interest rate on my lease (I was only there because their finance guy, Carlos, had ASKED me to come back around Christmas), I left that day, and by late afternoon when I went back in I was told by the same salesman that they wouldn't know anything until "at least Monday." So I waited. And waited. And waited. But no one called me. Finally, on December 26th, at 11:58 am, the salesman called me--on my cell phone, while I was at work and could not answer, and he left no message. I called him back--twice--and never heard from these folks again. When I went to Ancira Nissan today, the sales manager, Scott, got me my answer in TEN MINUTES. I waited 21 days and couldn't get anything from Town North except a weak apology and a pack of lies, and within less than 20 minutes I had all the information I needed. It had nothing to do with banks, the holidays, or anything else, as Scott and the very kind Gilbert explained to me--it had to do with checking existing information online. Which is what took very little time. And should have taken the same amount of time at the other dealership. Why, we all wondered, when Town North had given me such a good deal, would they then ignore me and refuse to call me back--and even resort to lying about doing so? That, my friends, is the question of the hour...and I will pose that very question to the Consumer Relations folks when I contact them to explain that Ancira Nissan saved/gained a customer for life, whereas Town North will NEVER, under any circumstances, see me again, nor will they ever get anything but a negative recommendation from me. Stay far, far away from them folks, trust me. They employ liars, cheaters and blame-shifters. Not good. As for Ancira Nissan? THEY ROCKED! And I hope they rock on, because they're going to be seeing me again, and I have no problem referring anyone to that dealer. I wish I'd taken more of their cards. This was our first purchase from Ancira but our 4th Nissan. Andrew showed us exactly what we asked to see, answered all our questions and gave us plenty of privacy to make our decision. He was polite, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor, which I appreciate since I love new cars but hate shopping for them. Negotiations were quick and painless. The above high marks are for Andrew Roth, however, we did have issues with the finance department. Returning phones calls is an import aspect of customer service. Return calls were continually promised and not delivered. Very frustrating. It took 8 weeks to solve a simple computer entry change. I was shuffled from one person to another until Mr. Moon took care of it with one phone call. This dealership needs to establish "The Buck Stops Here" policy. More
