First service in my maintenance pkg. It costs me a bridge toll and 25+ miles to travel over to Acura of Concord. I let Kyle know that I was out of my comfort zone in the Concord area and It costs me a bridge toll and 25+ miles to travel over to Acura of Concord. I let Kyle know that I was out of my comfort zone in the Concord area and there is an Acura dealer within 2-3 miles of my house. My husband brought into a service maintenance package, so I cross a bridge to get my car serviced at Acura of Concord. Kyle was friendly, understanding, and thoroughly explained everything to me. He was helpful. He even searched the map for a Hendrick’s dealership closer to my home, but this one is the closest option. The lobby was packed and there was no where to sit, so he found me waiting outside and offered to get me a ride to a nearby shopping center, since he thought there was a chance of extended wait time. Everything was covered under my svc pkg and warranty. I went on my way a happy customer. I called on my way home to ask Kyle about the tire pressure, which was reading 5-6 lbs higher than when I brought it in. He was nice and reassuring. Kyle didn’t seem bothered at all by such a simple question. My brief interactions with both ladies at the front desk were fine. They seem to have their job down and work efficiently. They were also friendly, like Kyle. DH More

Lack of customer service 09522736 Acura I made an appointment for 1:30 for an oil change as well as my safety recall. The rep (Erik) explained the procedure and that it could take about 2 hours not a big deal considering oil changes are about? Let’s says 30-1hour and the safety recall states about a hour at most (depending if something needs to be replaced). I told Erik that an emission light was on and he stated we couldn’t do the recall if any lights were on but as “a favor” he would look into it, I told him I could have the light looked at and come back for my recall if needed (but it didn’t make any sense cause the paper sent by acura is a free diagnosis to check for he recall but ok) I called at 4 and the car was still not finished- because it took “two techs” to finish my car. I waited and decided to show up at 5:30 Erik went outside to check someone’s tire? They continued to talk and even when the receptionist called to tell him I was waiting (now 5:55) he didn’t come back in until she had to physically get up and tell him to check on me. The first thing he says to me is it will be a few more minutes, I said that’s crazy it’s been here for almost 5 hours and it’s still not done. He goes to check on it and surprisingly what do you know it’s all finished. He comes back in and states lucky for me they are done with the car, I said again I would hope so being 5 hour wait time. Now he’s explaining what was done to the car and as I was upset I talk over him (yes rude of me and I apologized to him go figure) and he says “if you let me finish talking I can explain to you -“ and walks away to the desk leaving me in the lobby. I explain my frustration of being upset about the wait time not the service and he picks up my work order which has 4:30 written on it and points loudly this is what I told you 4:30!! I said that’s funny you just came in here and told me you just finished so what time was it really done?? He continues to explain two technicians needed to look at my car so that’s why it took so long, again understandable but no communication of this ever... He then picks up my keys and takes it off the key rings “you know what?!? I’ll just finish the paper work and mail it to you I’m not even going to charge you!” I explain it’s not the price it was the lack of communication and time for the customer, he says to me “I was doing you a favor by looking into etc etc “ i explain to him yet again I did not need the diagnosis ran and I would have came back to get the recall if it was a problem, so I appreciated it but I didn’t expect his “favor” to last 5 hours. I walk out check my car key that still has a low battery, walk back in and explain I asked specially for a replacement battery earlier which I would pay for and again here for 5 hours and no one replaces it? Interesting, he gets a new battery comes back and says “don’t be angry with me”? Ok. I come back the next morning and again apologize for my attitude but not my actions cause that’s ridiculous I’m the customer? At least I thought I ask for my copy of the receipt he says “oh I was just going to mail it out” .. but yet I get to the receptionist who has to call another receptionist to print me a new copy? Interesting. Where is the mail that was going to be sent out? Erik comes and tells them it was done internally? Interesting. I love bringing my car here when needed but this service was absurd I don’t even know if he took care of my recall correctly because I just got a receipt not the normal print out of what’s going on with my car- so who knows what service was really done or how accurate. It’s a shame I have to share this story with whomever cares to read, all my friends and family and business partners. Unfortunately his apology the following day as “he didn’t communicate well, your the client I just want you to be happy” isn’t enough or sincere. I’m sure your receptionist and service clerk that was there that evening heard my frustrations and him raising his voice. I even apologized to them that evening stating I’m sorry I didn’t realize it’s my fault that two techs need to look at my car? I could have went to any place for my oil change and Probly get this same terrible service but I expected more out of acura which was my mistake. but to bring my business back here for someone who doesn’t appreciate my time? Highly doubt I will be back. i know he tried to make it right by not charging me but I still said numerous times that I was willing to pay, and lack of communication or even more importantly respect was what I was most frustrated about. My rating is base upon- sure the work got done as far as the receipt says, but ... the respect attitude and communication will bring my business elsewhere. More
Not as good anymore Seems like new faces everywhere. Stood around for 20 minutes. Finally left keys with lady at the door and left.
