We have been Dirito Brothers customers for many decades, both sales and service, but this weekend when we went to buy an ID.4, we were treated in an unacceptable manner. When we asked to be shown a vehicle, both sales and service, but this weekend when we went to buy an ID.4, we were treated in an unacceptable manner. When we asked to be shown a vehicle, a sales associate named Andres Garcia handed us keys and told us to go find the car "in the back on the left of the lot", sit in it, and to come back if we had questions. We wandered the lot for 10 minutes, asking a car detailer and others to help us find the car, until we came across a helpful salesperson named Mike Raff, who couldn't find the car either and agreed to help us. When we came back into the showroom with Mike to get keys to a car that could be found and driven, the Sales Manager Jeff Rosen was laughing with Garcia and two other salesmen about us having been sent to wander around in the lot on our own. Mike agreed that the way we had been treated was not right, and that sentiment was echoed by several other employees who saw what was going on. When the receptionist initially sent us to Garcia for help, Garcia seemed lazy, haughty, and interested in demeaning us as customers instead of helping us buy a car. We ended up buying a car from Dirito brothers in spite of this treatment only because it would have been difficult to find our desired car at another dealership before the tariffs kicked in. We have heard from others that certain salespeople at Dirito Brothers have a bias against customers who are interested in EVs, especially analytical buyers such as ourselves who carry a notebook to jot notes in comparing brands and models. Perhaps that's why Garcia treated us with such evident disdain. In contrast to Garcia, Mike Raff, Erin Scordelis and Hanika Orgil treated us with kindness and respect and were very professional, helpful and warm. They should be the face of Dirito Brothers because they represent the family company very well when dealing with loyal customers. Top management needs to do something, however, about the others who do not represent the company well at all, and we will be sending letters to them to let them know of our experience. More
