Patryk Wyrazik was extremely helpful, professional, and attentive to the customer's needs. Since I brought my car for service, he was the first to greet me and made the service experience very pleasant. Ho attentive to the customer's needs. Since I brought my car for service, he was the first to greet me and made the service experience very pleasant. However, when I came to pick up my car, and as I drove home, I realized that my key fob was punched through. It was so damaged that I could not even lock my car. I then called Patryk, and he stated that he will discuss with the manager about this issue. I received an update call back stating that the manager said I had to pay for a replacement key fob because it was my fault the key fob had some years on it. However, the key fob, although older, did not show signs of being weak or worn to the point of breaking. When I went in-person to discuss this issue further with the manager, he stated that it was again my fault for the key fob being punched through. I explained that it was perfectly fine before I dropped off the car and key, and then after the appointment, I received it broken. The manager Felipe also said that it could be from all the lotion that women put on that weakened the fob. I told Felipe that that's a ridiculous accusation and that I do not put on lotion and touch my keys, nor do I have long nails that could possible puncture the buttons. In addition, the puncture on the key fob spanned all the buttons, as if a burly finger pressed hard on the fob, or, from someone pressing hard with gloves on. The manager Felipe kept defending that it was not the dealer's fault for the broken fob, and while I was trying to explain, he kept raising his voice and trying to talk over me. When I had a moment to talk, I told the manager that instead of trying to appease the customer and resolve the issue in a manner as expected in a professional position, he was making this a larger issue than it had to be and also making an unpleasant environment. I have been bringing my 2 cars for many years for all their service needs, spending thousands of dollars, and he's making a big deal out of replacing my key fob that I did not break. I told the manager that my Cruze has to return for service soon and probably for a turbo issue, which will run hundreds to thousands of dollars. After checking my account, he then agreed to issue a new key fob, waiving the fees, because of the thousands of dollars we spend at this dealership and our many years of loyalty. I was shocked from this whole situation because I expected the manager to carry a professional and calm disposition when interacting with customers and making customer satisfaction a core value as a representative of Advantage Chevrolet. When I sat in the reception area, waiting for my replacement key fob, Patryk continually checked in with me to update me of the status. I waited over 1 hour for the fob to be paired with my vehicle, and Patryk made sure to give me updates throughout. Not once has Patryk showed impatience nor unprofessionalism toward me or the situation. Patryk even stayed after-hours until the end of my visit. Upon showing me to my car with my replacement fob, he even kindly insisted on removing the service plastic/barriers and dispose of them for me. Although this traumatic experience dealing with the manager would have deterred me from returning to this dealership for future service, because of the respectfulness and care I received from Patryk Wyrazik this visit, and from my previous service advisor Carolina Wetzel, I look forward to returning and working with my service advisors in the future. This is the last time I will waste my time with these dealers because I can write thousands of paragraphs addressing why you should stay away from them, but I hope these keep you away and safe. 2023 Silv dealers because I can write thousands of paragraphs addressing why you should stay away from them, but I hope these keep you away and safe. 2023 Silverado $85k Engine broke down after a couple of months of purchase and many times in the service department, which never finds anything. These places do not know how to provide a service, every department will blame each other and none of them will come up with a solution or a good service. I tried to give him a second opportunity and after buying, a 85k truck, I tried, this time, to buy a used cargo van for my business. But this old man, how think he runs the world by filling up paperwork was the most arrogant person I have ever met. He was racist an unprofessional, I hope they realize they need every single person's money and businesses to keep their depressed job, regardless or their genders, age, if they buy new, used, cash or loan. The person who blamed being the store manager made me frustrated and walked away and all he did was to hide his face under the front desk. Stay away and give your money and time to someone else whom really deserves and appreciates. People if You need to buy a car here are my top recommendations NISSAN - FORD - JEEP quality service and cars. Advantage Chevrolet of Hodgkins — look forward for my review to the business bureau and your head corporation. My only hope for these job if that hopefully they fill their jobs with persons who really like their job and not arrogant racism old man. Brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and the mechanics PURPOSELY SABOTAGED my vehicle. I have the before video inspection showing absolutely NOTHING wrong but after the oil change the water the mechanics PURPOSELY SABOTAGED my vehicle. I have the before video inspection showing absolutely NOTHING wrong but after the oil change the water pump “gave out” instantly I couldn’t even drive it home!!! There were grinding noises, smoke coming from under the hood, and fluids leaking out everywhere!! Had to leave the vehicle overnight so they could look at it in the morning. Spoke with the manager and after another video was sent showing miraculously the oil pump “gave out”. I have the before and after videos as proof that this mechanic purposely sabotaged my truck. My truck was perfectly fine and brought in for an oil change and 2 hours later needed thousands of dollars in repair. I will never return to this place. I will tell everyone how you scammed me and I will be reporting this to my extended warranty company as well. You are scamming customers and the warranty company and they need to do an investigation. If it was the water pump why then did the serpentine belt get replaced and charged to the warranty company??? I should also report this to the local news because what you are doing is unlawful and you should be held accountable and stopped. More
