Simply the best. As stressful moments rank in life (marriage, child birth, divorce, buying a home, buying a car, etc), the experience I have, and have always had, at Five Star Ford in Dallas has been as stress free and enjoyable as just about anything I can think of with the same level of relative importance. The team that Brian Huth (GM) has assembled at Five Star Ford of Dallas is the best I’ve seen in the business. The culture is second to none. Every time I call or walk into this dealership, I’m made to feel like family. The culture is consistent from the GM down to the first person to greet you or answer the phone. Don’t know why I would ever go somewhere else. I love this place and it is 1000% because of the people there.

Fidel Martínez is a fine salesman. He's patient, emlathetic—and persistent! My only complaint about Kia of Round Rock is that they declined to transfer the specialty plates from our old car to the new one. The result will be a lot of unnecessary paperwork and a long delay while we wait for the DMV to send new plates to the dealer, which I will then have to take to the DMV (or maybe it's the county tax assessor-collector) to swap them for the specialty plates.

While waiting for the completion of my oil change (I was sent a coupon which priced the synthetic oil cheaper than doing it myself) I talked to a dozen of the staff. All were very courteous. A free complete check of filters , fluids and brakes were made in the service department and I was provided a list of items that needed to be addressed. I am "old school" and can do all of the maintenance items myself and welcomed not feeling any pressure from the service associate to have the maintenance done by the dealership.

Walking into the dealership a couple of hours before closing, I wasn’t expecting a life-changing experience—but that’s exactly what I got. There was no one at the front when I arrived, but Mark came over and greeted us right away and then brought over the one and only Kharion. From the moment we sat at his desk, I knew I was in good hands. I showed him the car I wanted, and he quickly grabbed the key so we could go for a test drive. After the drive, I noticed some paint chips on the car and asked if they could be touched up—without hesitation, Kharion made sure it was taken care of. When we moved over to Jose, he took the time to explain everything in depth. The only hiccup was that the warranty being a separate charge wasn’t super clear at first, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Kharion made sure every detail was handled before I drove the car off the lot, and that attention to detail continued even after the sale. When I came back for the paint touch-up, the paint guy wasn’t in due to their rotation schedule—but Kharion was thoughtful enough to top off my gas for free since I had driven in from another city. On my second visit, he made sure the paint was touched up to my satisfaction before moving forward, and when I mentioned wanting to test drive a manual car, he had me covered with a loaner I could take out while I waited. Later on, I had an issue with my Lojack system, and Jose was great at getting that resolved quickly. Honestly, I think I made their jobs easier because I already knew what I wanted walking in—it was mostly just a matter of getting everything processed. That said, reducing some of the downtime during the wait would be nice. But let me be very clear: If you’re not buying a car from Kharion, you’re doing life wrong. He made the entire process smooth, thoughtful, and honestly fun. The man deserves a statue out front—preferably with a plaque that reads “ Legendary Car Salesman” Thank you, Kharion, for making this experience not only easy but exceptional.
