I called early last week, spoke to the service department, asked if parking sensors could be added to my Ridgeline, and if so, what the cost would be. I was told that the parts department would give me that information, so I was transferred there. They confirmed that they can be installed, told me the parts cost would be $287. I asked for the total cost, I was told the service department would provide that, so I was transferred back to the service department. The advisor there said $550 for everything, so I asked them to place the order, and I was told that the parts department would have to do that. I never was called, so I called and they got me scheduled. I arrived before the scheduled time, asked for a ride home, and I was told that the person that does that, had not arrived yet. No problem, since it was a little before 8AM. By 8:30, I was told that the person who does the shuttle, was at the dentist, and it would most likely be another half hour. I conveyed I had meetings to attend and stuff to do for work, and half an hour later, another person came to give me a ride. At 11AM, the service department calls me, to ensure I am on the same page for labor, and I was informed just the labor would be $687. That combined with the parts cost, would be around $1050 with tax, double what I was quoted, which is not in my budget. I told my advisor that when I called, I repeatedly asked for the total cost, so he went to his manager, and they decided to honor the $550. A couple hours after that call, I was called again by the service department, informed that all of the parts were not ordered for the parking sensors, and as a result, it will be the next day before it’s ready. I called at the end of the next day, spoke with my advisor, and I was told “due to the after market sound system, they’ve had issues getting the sensors installed, and if they would have known that, they would have charged more for the job.” I asked why, and he said that the sensor system has to be wired into the speakers of the truck, so the audible tone can be played on the speakers. If someone had taken the time to explain the install process, when I initially called, I would have been more than happy to convey about the speakers. Fast forward to picking up my vehicle, I get a different service advisor, and he told me that the cost is $941. I explained once again, that I had called and repeatedly asked for the total cost, to which he informed me that was the labor only, so he brought the “manager” over, who I believe is Edward Thomson. He explained that he was the original person I spoke with, and the $550 is only labor. I then asked, “so, if someone calls and asks for the total cost on something, there is no one at this dealership that a customer can talk to, to get this information?”, to which he replied “no.” He sat at his computer for a few minutes, then said “with a 10% discount, your total is $860”. I explained once again that when I called to ask for the total cost, I was told it was $550, and then when Sky called and I explained the same thing, $550 was the answer. I explained to Edward that there was far too much miscommunication that happened, the experience was not ideal by any means, to which he scoffed and sneered, then said, “clearly….on both sides….”. I was so frustrated at this point, I told him he has two options: 1 - I pay $550 total and I leave, or 2 - he can take the system out and replace the back bumper, since it now has holes in it. He grumbled a little bit, then got the total invoice price down to $547. On the All Star Honda website, it states the following, in the About Us section; “We live by the golden rule at All Star Honda Abilene and we treat everyone who visits us in the Merkel, San Angelo, Clyde and Baird area exactly how we would want to be treated. I purchased a 2023 Nissan Rouge via online. My salesman was Abe. I asked him to point out every single imperfection on the vehicle so I could decide if it would be the right purchase, or if I needed To negotiate based on damage. He told me the car was very clean. He said there were only two nicks on the car and sent me a picture of them. He completely made me believe that these were the only 2 things wrong. He told me the car was super clean and would be a great vehicle. When he delivered the car yesterday, I noticed a bad mark on the hood that they had put a clear film over. Someone had poorly tried to touch up paint on it, which was not even the correct paint and it was then covered with their $1300 clear coat protective thing they try to charge on top of everything. When I drove the car the next day to work, I noticed major imperfections. There is a big scrape on the right front end and multiple scrapes with paint off on the both sides of the front end. There is a nick out of the leather on the inside center console/armrest. There is a hole in the material on the back passenger seat. I sent a message to Abe to let him know that I was not happy and what I had found. He did not have the courage to call me and had a "manager" named David call me. David completely over talked me and tried to come up with excuses, including telling me the nick on top of the hood probably happened when Abe was driving it to where I live. I told him no that they had touched it up with what looks like somebody put some paint on their finger and dabbed it on a hole on the hood and then it was underneath that $1300 protective thing they add to the vehicle to charge more money. He kept over talking me and telling me that there's a risk involved when purchasing a used car and not all used cars are perfect, etc. He would not let me speak. I explained to him that I knew he was going to say something like this. He did not offer any resolve. He did ask for me to forward the pictures for review. I have asked for the owner's name to make a complaint. This vehicle needs to be fixed because I was sold this vehicle under faulse information.

So I brought my car in to Jerry’s just to get checked out for a couple things like new windshield wipers, check my brakes, and check my transmission, and check my mirrors that move on their own against my settings. Now they had my car for a couple days, talked me into a new battery… okay fine. Most things are covered under my extended warranty purchase. But here’s the problem. My car left in worse shape than when I brought it in. The check engine light has come on twice now and won’t go off. The rear air conditioning no longer works and my mirrors are still moving on their own no matter what my settings are. They also overcharged me and still haven’t seen payment back for it. I have called multiple times only to be disconnected or get a voicemail. I sent a text which was not responded to until I sent a few more. Was told someone would be calling me about setting up a rental vehicle but still haven’t heard from anyone. Seeing as this company is the one who messed up my car you would think I’d be more of a top priority to fix their mistakes. I’ve got 4 kids and driving around in 100 degree weather with them baking in the backseat is not okay.

I have been driving Hondas for almost 27 years. I'm aware of mechanical issues that can happen, regular maintenance that should be done, etc. I had never used this dealership until recently. I acquired an old Pilot, and decided to try them out with an oil change. From previous experiences, I won't go anywhere else for that service, but a Honda dealership. I get treated just like any other customer, even though my car isn't as shiny and new. I like the inspections and reminders they go over for service. It's not a hard sell, like you might find with other convenient places. Connor and Greg B. have been most helpful with all my questions and service needs. Both were informative on how I can save on some needed maintenance. Both went out of their way--Conner with providing me carfax to determine current service needs and quotes, and Greg going above and beyond with loaner options, and his service, and ideas to save money. The dealership was busy both times those men helped me, and they were patient and kind, never rushed me, nor did they exhibit anything other than superior service. Thank you!!!!

I cannot give high enough ratings for the excellent service that I received from the sales team. I first spoke with Jasen Vann on the phone, and he was very professional and explained pricing and extras and answered all the questions I had. I asked him for a quote on the vehicle that I had chosen online, and he sent it right away. Right after this, I had an unpleasant experience with another Nissan dealership. The salesperson from that group sent me a quote, and I went to the dealership planning to purchase it. Their sales manager would not honor the quote that the salesman had given me. He would not even look at it. So I called Jasen back and told him what had happened. He put his sales manager, Alfonso Gutierrez on the phone, and Mr. Gutierrez assured me that he would honor the quote and that Mossy did not treat customers that way. I had previously worked for a company that leased cars from Mossy, and we always had excellent service and relationships with them. So I went to Mossy, met with Jasen, and closed the deal on the same day. All the employees made me feel very comfortable; there was no hard sell. It was a very pleasant experience, and now whenever I plan to purchase a car, either new or used, Mossy is the first place I will go, and I will recommend the dealership highly to anyone looking for a new car. Jasen continues to be in touch with me via e-mail to let me know opportunities that I have with Mossy Nissan. I couldn't give a better review. He went above and beyond in having a new engine installed in my 2015 Sonata much quicker than I expected. He even took time out to obtain a quote and time frame from a body shop to have the hood of my car painted and had my car delivered to them. Tim is extremely friendly, very responsive, knowledgeable and treated me as if I were his most important customer. I suspect be treats each of his customers the same way, as VIPs! I have been a loyal customer of this dealership for years. I am financing two vehicles now. I wanted a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder and was able to get one October 2016. I have been back and forth to the service department five times since Memorial Day 2024. I cannot sit at a traffic light or a drive thru without vehicle running hot. The last time it was in service department was Aug. 16, 2024 and a week later it is back with a final diagnosis of needing a radiator fan at a cost of $725. When I got the vehicle it was supposed to be under three year warranty. With these service department trips, I have been told over and over that the warranty doesn't cover work this vehicle needs. I am feeling so messed over.

basically drove an hour on my only off day, to have mediocre lunch at this dealership. Countless times and to multiple individuals that I came in contact with I informed that this is my only day off, I would like to start the process and at least know if there is an approval on the table before making such a journey. I was passed from sales person to internet manager, and was guaranteed approval. Discussed down payment, and given a rate though not exact an estimate of my note. I was assured and reassured that I was simply coming in to test drive and then speak with finance to finalize numbers. That couldn’t have been more inaccurate. My appointment was set for 1:30pm, at 1:33 I was looking for parking but being called to confirm if I was still coming in. But it was not disclosed that the vehicle that I was coming in for. Was sold that morning. I was told because I was on such a crunch for time to send all paperwork over, which I did beforehand. Inaccuracy. I was informed the cars that potentially I was interested would be pulled around. Inaccuracy. Optimistic, I thought that things happen it could have just been a busy morning. The lobby was ghetto, the receptionist was cursing on her personal phone. Other customers cursing at salespeople for being rude . Meanwhile there’s a kitchen in the middle of the showroom floor . After the test drive of a vehicle that I ended up liking, that was in the same range of the vehicle, and had recently been reduced , I sat and waited. I have about a 2 hour window and ran through that rather quickly before having to let them know I’d have to come back . About 15 mins into my drive back into town, I get a text message telling me that I was approved for a vehicle I never saw, showed interest in, or was even made aware. So how did they approve me for that? The entire time I was looking at at midsized SUVS. The car that they came back with an approval for was a 2door Dodge challenger. My next options were a Nissan Kicks and Chevrolet Trax. The car originally that I stopped in for was a Ford Mustang Mach E, then a Mercedes GL. Understandably sometimes people have different credit restrictions or capabilities. But if I’ve given you authorization to run my credit before I get there to avoid then why not take if to avoid upsetting a customer. But the thought of getting a customer in, and then bullying them into a vehicle with the promise of upgrading in a few months when realistically that’s never done. Its dishonest and frustrating because they harass you to get in when in that time they could have been verifying if the promises made were even doable or if the car was even available Then on top of that I was asked to come up with 2.5 times more of a down payment than I originally came into the dealership to spend. I informed them if they could work with me and defer the down payment 2 weeks then sure. They immediately came back with no. And asked for a cosignor , while blaming everything on the banks. I’ve not been in contact with the banks, I’ve been speaking with your personnel as the liaison. The POC and liaison was in charge of providing true and accurate information and they were unsuccessful in doing so resulting in an awful experience and someone who will always tell others of this story so that others won’t have their time wasted. In this age and the economy that we’re currently in, consumers should be given more respect for their time, especially when it’s disclosed on multiple occasions where they stand. All of these questions were asked and would have saved me time and copious amounts of frustration . The internet Director , Edwin (sales rep) were amazing at following up and confirming that my time would be wasted. They completely dropped the ball when it came to setting realistic expectations, underpromising and overdelivering, proactively listening to customer concerns, and accountability. Don’t waste your time, unless you just want to go have a torta in an uncomfortable environment
