I would highly recommend Platinum Honda of Texoma and Debbie Foret (New Car Sales) to anyone in the North Texas area (including DFW) who is looking to make a new car purchase. I live in a north DFW suburb and was recently searching for a specific model/trim/color of new Odyssey Van. I checked out a few DFW dealerships and decided to also check out Platinum Honda. I was very fortunate that my call to Platinum connected me with Debbie Foret in New Car Sales. Finalizing the purchase and vehicle delivery process at Platinum – Debbie and Zach the Sales Manager walked me through what turned out to be the smoothest and most enjoyable new car purchase ever! To begin with the car had to be towed to the Dealership a 2nd. time. 8 days to repair my car & they don't offer loaners, nor did they tell me that I could get a rental & be reimbursed for it. This car is still under warranty, so far it has had 2 batteries replaced, 2 Fuel pumps replaced, multiple trips to get the rear camera repaired. Plus I paid to have the original tires replaced which were defective. I called GM to complain & see if they could help. The answer was they would get back to me in 3 days. The GM rep. that called me back mentioned that the Service Manager said that they had trouble contacting me to let me know the car was ready. I offered to show her the phone call log on my phone so that she could see that that was just not right. Buying the car was a pleasurable experience. My dealings with service have been just the opposite. I will say that Nick tried his best and was easy to deal with.

He made sure to include the repair technician, Rob, in our conversations to prevent any misunderstandings. Rob was knowledgeable and professional, quickly and efficiently diagnosing the problem. The parts department also enhanced the overall service by promptly ordering and supplying the necessary parts, resulting in a fast turnaround time for the repairs. My husband and I purchased a used Tundra from Family Toyota of Arlington. We had a great experience with Andrei in sales. We are out-of-state buyers and were in constant communication with Andrei to finalize the sale. The dealership even helped us contact a transport company to ship the truck from Texas to Florida. We experienced a hiccup after receiving the truck. The check engine light came on and we took it to two local mechanic shops for diagnosis. Both the local shops stated there was a timing issue with the motor. I contacted the Family Toyota of Arlington general manager who put me in touch with TJ in the service department. I explained the issues we had with the truck and provided copies of the repair reports from our local Toyota dealer and the second repair shop. Since the issue was not caught prior to us purchasing the truck from the dealership and was in the 2month, 2K miles warranty period, Family Toyota agreed to transport the truck from FL to TX, replace the timing gears, and transport the truck back to Florida. They covered all the costs for transportation and repair. TJ communicated with me the entire time and they test drove the truck for 3 days to make sure to no other issues appeared. We received the truck back four days and everything is working well. I want to express my gratitude to TJ Hamilton, Matt Luck, and Andrei in sales. All of you went above to beyond to help us resolve the issues we faced with the Tundra, and we truly appreciate your help. Everyone we worked with at Family Toyota showed honesty and integrity. These qualities are hard to find in the car sales world and TJ, Andrei and Matt proved to be stand up guys.

Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. - Very disappointed customer

Had an oil change on June 4, 2024. Started seeing fluid on the ground whenever I parked the vehicle. Had my husband look at it and discovered oil was leaking on the ground. Tried to get service appt this past Fri and Sat but the message stated the service dept was closed. Needless to say I had to get the vehicle checked out and found out the the gasket was not tightened after the last oil change. Had to get a new oil change and thank goodness for that dealership’s expertise in analyzing and fixing the careless error of Tejas service department. Will never go back to Tejas now renamed Space City! Very costly error
