My husband and I purchased a used Tundra from Family Toyota of Arlington. We had a great experience with Andrei in sales. We are out-of-state buyers and were in constant communication with Andrei to finalize the sale. The dealership even helped us contact a transport company to ship the truck from Texas to Florida.
We experienced a hiccup after receiving the truck. The check engine light came on and we took it to two local mechanic shops for diagnosis. Both the local shops stated there was a timing issue with the motor.
I contacted the Family Toyota of Arlington general manager who put me in touch with TJ in the service department. I explained the issues we had with the truck and provided copies of the repair reports from our local Toyota dealer and the second repair shop. Since the issue was not caught prior to us purchasing the truck from the dealership and was in the 2month, 2K miles warranty period, Family Toyota agreed to transport the truck from FL to TX, replace the timing gears, and transport the truck back to Florida. They covered all the costs for transportation and repair. TJ communicated with me the entire time and they test drove the truck for 3 days to make sure to no other issues appeared. We received the truck back four days and everything is working well.
I want to express my gratitude to TJ Hamilton, Matt Luck, and Andrei in sales. All of you went above to beyond to help us resolve the issues we faced with the Tundra, and we truly appreciate your help. Everyone we worked with at Family Toyota showed honesty and integrity. These qualities are hard to find in the car sales world and TJ, Andrei and Matt proved to be stand up guys.
